The Hexbug Nano Starter Set has everything you need to start your own Hexbug Nano habitat! Build a world for your Hexbug Nanos to explore. The parts snap together and allow you to build different configurations. Hexbug Nano robotic bugs navigate their way through the habitat maze you create. Set includes 1 extremely rare mutation; 2 easy connect curved pieces; 1 easy connect hexagon piece. Requires one AG13 battery which is included.

Collect all of the Hexbug creatures including the: original Hexbug, Inchworm, Crab, Ant, and Nano! The original Hexbug reacts to touch and sound, the crab reacts to light and sound and the Ant reacts to touch. You have the power to control the inchworm...the first full-range control robotic creature. The nano behaves like a real bug and can even flip itself over! I hate buying things for my kids that they haven't specifically asked for . . . it is always such a gamble.

But, I saw the Hexbugs at my son's school and thought it was worth the risk. He loves it and is mesmerized by it . . . he will play/tinker with it for hours. He wants a larger set for his birthday!

Definitely worth the risk!

When my son first wanted these, I was worried it would be a waste of money. But he put the track together himself (he was 8 at the time) and let the hex bugs loose! They were pretty cool and he even built a track so that he could put a Lego ball in the track and they played soccer! Very ingenious. He plays with it for hours!! I do recommend it for kids who love to take a part and build more tracks and enjoy creativity!
