My son received this for his first birthday and didn't really play with it for a few months. When he did start playing with it he was very frustrated with how hard the balls have to be hit to go through the holes. His dexterity in gripping the wide hammer isn't enough to effectively use the hammer to accomplish the task. I can do it, but the toy isn't meant for me.

He does like to open the boat up and store the items in there. He likes to play with the trap door for the ball to go through as well. He usually just tries to press on the balls with all his might to get them through. I wish it were easier to play with for him.
