My 3 year old wanted a police car for Christmas, and after looking around, I thought this was a good size and had good features. He likes it well enough, was disappointed that it didn't make a sound, but I did that on purpose! the trunk opens, where you can store the many tiny guns and accessories that came with it. Those are basically useless, because they are too small for a kid to play with and are very easily lost. The figures are difficult to fit into the car, so my son can't do that either. He lays the police figures in the front and back seat of the car. I even have a hard time making them sit, because there is only one way they can slide in. But, compared to the other similar sized police cars, it has alot of features and my son likes to play with it.

I prefer Playmobil products but this one does not turn off. I have been through 2 cars so far and same issue.

Santa got this for me almost four year old son. He loves police, fireman and ambulances so this was perfect. The fact that the roof comes off is so great. The only Con for us is that it included pretend guns which we don't think are necessary so we removed them.

Just as we expect from Playmobil, the police car has kept our boys busy for hours. It encourages them to use their imaginations and is refreshingly void of a siren. The boys make their own instead :). The itty bitty pieces can be easily lost or a concern for parents with littlier children, but they add so much detail and extra room for the imagination to work.

My son (3 1/2) likes it. Positives: easy to assemble, has guns and other small police tools, comes with 2 police officers (female), wheels turn, trunk opens and closes for you to put the tools in. Some negatives: the doors don't open, no sound, only one simple pattern for the blinking lights on top (and that's all the lights that blink), no way to turn the blinking lights off w/ a button - have to wait for couple of minutes for them to turn off. A stronger negative is that the top comes off very easily - it's meant to come off in order to put the 2 police officers in (again, doors don't open) but my son picks it up by the top, it comes off, and I usually have to put it back on.

My son Nathan loves to play with the police car. He loves the police guns and handcuffs to catch the bad guys. The things thats not so great is if you happen to roll it off the kitchen table it will break. (trailor hitch)

My son love this item, he plays with it more then his video game. I have get him this with with the playmobil police station. I will recommend this item for children 5 and up, cause it does contain smaill pieces.

My 6 year old son loves this police car. It seats four playmobil people. My son loves to have a place for the bad guys to sit. The truck opens and stores the additional pieces such as a rifle, sign, flashlight, etc. The roof is removable. I wish that the car also have sounds in addition to the flashing lights.

Gave this as a gift to a very active 6 year old. He carries it everywhere, from donut shop to mall. Drew the line at church.
The realism is definitely there. Easy for him to use and seems durable. The trunk is great for storage. And I particularly like the feature of the roof lites turning off automatically after 3 minutes or so, to save battery time. Great item for this boy!
