We are WOOMBIE addicts! We have tried all the other brands: Miracle Blanket was just cruel and sweaty (Do you really think they can't move at all in the womb?!), Hippopotamus velcro wraps never stayed velcroed and are noisy for a sleepy baby if you just need to adjust or diaper change, and the gauzy wraps are too complicated and STILL come undone. The Woombie is SIMPLE. Put them in, zip it up and they are HAPPY! Hands can be wherever they want them to be and they still feel cozy and secure. NO sweating. Just dress baby according to the weather and in summer just a diaper or onesie is perfect with the Woombie. Our son would fall asleep within 5 minutes of putting this on. If I had only found this with my first child... oh the hours I would have saved! He used it until he was almost 1. Thank goodness it comes in multiple sizes :)Bottom line- this is the one baby product I couldn't live without.

My baby really didn't like this product. He was used to being swaddled much tighter so he couldn't move his arms so much. I think off I had started using it when he was a newborn it would have worked better, he's now 6 months and it just doesn't work for him at all!

Comments about Woombie Lil' Houdini - Blue (Big Baby 14-19 lbs):
Super easy to use, wraps my son tight, like he needs to be to sleep well, and he stays swaddled-important! Yet its a bit more freeing since he can move his arms up and down his body (he does like keeping his arms and hands near his face)-another bonus! Almost impossible to break out out of. While its a bit pricey, its so worth it and I bought a second! Recommended, highly!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Easy to use, but thumb suckers beware
from St. Louis, MO
This swaddle is SUPER easy to use, just zip it up. It seems great to be able to move arms, however, I have an adamit thumbsucker, and it actually makes him mad that he can almost get his thumb, but not quite. We also use miracle blanket, which is much harder to wrap him in, but NO arm movement, and he doesn't get mad because I guess he knows it isn't an option. My husband definitely prefers to use this one, though.

By My baby won't sleep
My son still wasn't sleeping through the night at 4 moths old. We tried the swaddler and the maricle blanket and then bought the woombie. I wish we would have had it from the get go! I was hesitant to buy it because I thought it was a little pricey, but it was worth every penny. He now sleeps through the night, every night!

About Me First Time Parent
I wish someone had told me about this product sooner! This has worked wonders for helping my son sleep better, especially for his daytime naps, which he would fight for a long time if I tried to put him in his crib...until I found the Woombie.Even though I thought my son didn't like to have his arms swaddled, once I got this product I realized he needed it to sleep well. It's great because the design of it and the stretchy material make him feel snug and secure, yet it still allows him to move his arms around inside, which makes it way better than any other swaddling blanket I've tried, or even the vecro wraps. It's easy to get on and off. The only con is that it's line dry only, and since I'm frequently washing it, a lot of times it's still drying when I need it. Guess I need to buy another one!

Our little boy has to be swaddled to sleep through the night but could get out of any swaddle we tried: velcro swaddle blankets, a tight swaddle with a regular blanket, double swaddling, etc. Plus, he would fuss while trying to put him in those. Then we had a friend who suggested The Woombie. Our life has changed! He can't get out of it and it allows him to put his hands where they're the most comfortable without hitting himself in the face and waking himself up. It's super easy to put on and has the convenient reversible zipper for diaper changes. Once we bought this he slept through the night-every night (by 8 weeks!). I'm buying this for all my friends who are having babies!

The best swaddler out there!

I am THRILLED to see that BRU is now carrying The Woombie and supporting this wonderful, creative company. I started using the Lil' Houdini woombie when my son was 5 weeks old because he seemed very uncomfortable in the straight jacket position that the Miracle Blanket put him in (he loves to have his hands up by his face!). He absolutely loves his Woombie and it has been great for his sleep patterns. We switched him to the Deluxe version when he was ~3 months old. In addition, the Woombie is great at daycare for babies who need to be swaddled to sleep - the Miracle Blanket was just too much for my son's teachers. We are *just* weaning him out of the Woombie now by leaving it unzipped halfway, and he is 11 months old. If I had my way, I'd have him in a Woombie when he goes to college!
Woombie is wonderful!
