Okay, I will start by saying that what is most important to me is the health and comfort of my baby and then my own comfort. Thus, I knew I would never buy a bjorn or an infantino because those "crotch danglers" are known to be bad for baby as they cause spinal compression.
Also, I was a nanny to a girl for 10 months, 8 of which I was pregnant during. From 15 months to 25 months I used her parents' carrier. They are very slender tall people and I am on the short side, 5'4", and plus size (16 up top18/20 pants)...and we all loved that carrier with her. I am a city dweller and we would walk everywhere for hours with out probablems and she was about 22- 30 lbs.
That being said, I am a college mom and I knew I loved the construction of that carrier but I wanted to save a few bucks so I opted for this carrier, which seemed to be similar, and I have to say I truly regret it. If I could I would give this 2.5 stars if I could as it wasn't completely horrible.

The pros: it is lightweight and my baby loved it until he hit around 13 lbs. It is easy to use. There are two convenient pockets on the front. Tons of carrying options. Very soft material.

The cons:
-myself, my partner, and 4 of my girlfriends that watch him while I am in class have worn this carrier.
My partner is 6 foot and about 200 lbs and he did alright with the carrier when baby was little, having no problems. However,
Myself and my girlfriends, who range from size 4 to size 6 pants and have broad shoulders as I do, all had issues. No matter how much adjusting we did, the essential behind-the-neck clip caused neck tensions and the straps caused shoulder and back pain.
After a day out when my son was 10 lbs, his father had to massage my back because the pain was so bad. Also, because I used this product daily, it was hurting my back so bad that I had a hard time bending down which would impede packing up my bookbag, changing baby, and other simple tasks.

-baby, now 3 months, is teething and likes to chew on the straps but I have to make sure there is a bib or something else that is soft so that he doesn't chew on the very coarse material between the soft part of the straps and the baby-carrying part.

-baby got a laceration on his thigh/butt from the material of the carrier.

-the harness-type part that attaches and holds baby's head up often unsnaps, especially if baby is having a fussy moment.

-myself and my 4 girlfriends have experienced the part that goes around the waist rolls up...doesn't seem too safe.

-there aren't any accesories to buy that can make going hands free easier

Overall, I think this carrier is better for warmer months, smaller babies, and more slender mommies and daddies.

I spent the money and got myself the same carrier I used as a nanny after 2 months of using this carrier almost daily and am sad that it took me this long and I wasted that money. Baby loves the new carrier and we are not looking back. I also have a wrap carrier to use at home and baby loves that as well.

I tried to do a lot of research on all of my registry items. I also trusted all the fantastic reviews for this baby carrier and I wanted to be a little "different" compared to all the bjorn's put there. I am shocked that so many people like it so much. First of all, the instructions and illustrations do not match the actual carrier. It is great looking and I really like the material but there are just too many buckles and clasps. Also, my baby was never comfortable. So I gave in, bought a bjorn and it really is SO simple and perfect! Most importantly, my daughter loves it.

I have a hard time wearing my baby now that hes 1 but this one converts to a hip carrier which is great for us. The baby likes it, he's secure and he's even fallen asleep in this carrier. Great for not so tiny women like me, I didn't even need the extender that the company sells. Fantastic and I know I can use for the next one too!!

Through the years I have purchased many carriers for my own children, baby showers and the like. They are used for a few months until the baby is too big and the back and shoulders hurt. This design, a registry item for my niece, is just perfect. Finally, somebody got it right. The many positions, front, back and hip allow this carrier to be used for many months. Even a great-grandma can use it!

I used this carrier EVERY day, I had back problems with other carriers but this one is great!!! The only thing I don't like are the shoulder straps, they move and have a hard time staying under your arm pits(if u have them on back)

My husband and I love this carrier. It's incredibly well-made, easy to use and best of all, fits both of us well. This carrier is easily adjusted to fit both of us - a petite woman and a 6 foot tall man. We tried the Bjorn and the Ergo and we definitely like this one the best.

The Every Wear Carrier is the most versatile, light-weight carrier I've tried - and I've tried a lot! Through hand-me-downs, gifts and purchases, I have a Bjorn, an Ergo and the Every Wear, and the others just don't hold a candle to this one. Its comfortable both on me and my husband, despite different sizes, shapes and "wearing" preferences. I love that there's not a lot of bulky material, and also that there are plenty of very conveniently placed pockets. The fact that its light-weight makes it perfect for summer use, hikes, etc., without the baby getting hot, but somehow, it also does a great job at keeping our son warm in the winter. We also love that a baby can face in, out, or ride "on the side" - it can be used in lots of different ways, which is a huge benefit over the other carriers. I can't say enough good things about the Every Wear and recommend it highly.

My baby is well over 20 lbs and fits so comfortably in this sling, You can use it as a back pack, wear in the front, facing inward or outward which i Love cause my baby loves facing outward, and as a side carrier. Very lightweight and breathable material, and super soft. Would recommend to all baby wearers! Great for travel, used especially through airport security!
