I have a 5 year old daughter that got this for Christmas. We followed the instructions to pour the plaster and it did come out much too watery. We just added a little more plaster until we got it to the right consistency. (Not too thick, but not too thin) They give you an extra bag of plaster, so it was not a big deal. We did have a little plaster leak through the mold, but the directions said that could be expected and after it sets up you just snap off the extra.(No big deal) You have to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit to figure out the temp, which equaled 250 degrees. We then baked it for 2 hours. While they were baking my daughter kept herself busy with other things. Our paints were fine. I pained one and my daughter pained two. They turned out so cute! I would recommend this product to anyone who loves crafty type projects.

This toy was given as a gift to my daughter for Christmas (12/25/2010). I am so sorry to report that it is the biggest piece of junk, money waste ever! My daughter and I "attempted" to make the snow domes today and to no avail! The plaster completely leaked through the molds. It was a horrible mess; all over everything; table, chairs, clothes and not to mention; the plaster began irritating my hands. I would NOT recommend this product! Also, the paint that came with ours was all dried up! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! A quick solution so that it is not a total waste; re seal the molds and fill them with wall plaster and wait 48 to 72 hours until it completely sets; then continue on, BUT totally would not recommend this toy! NOT worth the mess or the trouble.

      This is a horrible craft and a complete waste of money. The plaster mix pours right through the mold. My child and I didn't even get to
      the two hour baking time before throwing the entire kit in the trash.

          Horrible mess. Plaster just pours out of mold. We tried adding less water, no help. Total disappointment for a little girl.I went so far as to try and seal mold myself to no avail. I will NEVER buy another Totally Me product.

                  Got this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas and the only thing she was able to do was paint. Every thing else I had to do. The plaster was to runny the first time and the globes leak water. Also the glitter just clumped up in the water. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought it. She has decided to throw this away and we are taking her to get another craft project.

                            This has to be one of the most horrible children's crafts I have ever done. It started with an enthusiastic mom and 5 year old. It ended in frustration and tears. The mold do not hold any of the paste. Furthermore I think the ration of water to plaster was completely incorrect. It leaked everywhere. There is a reason there is four bags of powder and three molds. It takes the forth bag to understand your proper mix. When the project has been dried you cannot re size the Fairies. After cooking it for 3+ hours you will then discover that the Fairies dont stay on the base. This product doesnt even deserve a 0/10. GARBAGE.

                                Please don't waste your money on this product!!! From start to finish it was horrible. First the molds don't hold the plaster at all!! My daughters fairies were all different sizes because the plaster slid out of the bottom. Then once they hardened and then had to be put in the oven to harden yet again (which I think from start to finish about 6 hours of prep time) Once my daughter got to paint her molds, we let that dry and proceeded to fit the fairy into the dome. Once I started putting the water into it, it leaked out of the bottom. I thought maybe it was defective, so I tried the other 2 domes - same thing!!! Piece of junk!!!! Very cute concept but not what I thought it would be. I was very dissappointed with this product and would NOT recommend anyone buying this.

                                      After three tries of making the plaster it just leaked out. There are four bags of plaster but what is the point to try the last one. I was hesitant of getting this for my daughter for Christmas but she wanted it and she loves arts and crafts. I have bought totally me products before and they were great but this is the worse. Unfortunately I just got around to trying this now during Spring Break and I no longer have the receipt.

                                          This product is horrible. The top of the dome doesn't seal properly which means it is impossible to keep the clay in the mold. The instructions are useless in helping you figure out how to get it to seal and so you can't actually use it. It's a complete waste of money.
