Description



This 6-case workstation and storage unit includes six portable project cases and two 10" x 10" building base plates. Each case features in-molded graphics of LEGO Minifigure heads and has snap-tight closures to ensure case contents remain secure and free from dust. Base plates fit on top of unit for building and displaying creations. Raised edges keep base plates secure and indentations around base plate top allow for easy removal of base plates. This versatile storage unit serves as the perfect "filing system" and "play and put away workstation" for your LEGO's.

    The product is shown just as it is in the picture. We put all the large base pieces in one drawer, manuals in a second, then started sorting into the remaining 4 drawers using separately purchased drawer dividers. When those are used, the dividers do not go up to the lid sealing off each compartment. So as soon as the drawer is lifted by the handle, all the sorted pieces fall out. Great product by itself, horrible if you want to sort small pieces into the (sold separately) divider trays.

      Excellent storage for Lego blocks. 6 well made carry along cases and a sturdy tower to store them in is the best space saver I've found for blocks. My boys now keep their blocks sorted and tidy. They sorted evertything into the cases so they can take some blocks when we go somewhere.
      Will be adding more as our collection grows.

          I ordered two of these units for my grandsons. In the first order, one of the units was damaged so I returned it to the store. Since they didn't have any more in stock, they issued me a refund. I reordered a replacement thru the website, only to have this one come in more damaged than the first. The frame was all cracked and split so that the drawers wouldn't stay in place. I returned it also and just got my money back. I am curious to see how the one and only one that we kept holds up. Beware of the frame on this item because it apparently isn't made sturdy enough for transport so it makes me question how it will hold up to an active boy!

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              Product is great but I only gave it 4 stars and not 5 because of Toys R Us's description of the product. Toys R Us says it comes with two base plates but the product only comes with one which is correct according to the products package. Nothing wrong with the cases just the description.

                    This is a great way to organize Lego's. My son can keep projects in them without breaking them apart. The storage cases are easy for him to handle and they slide easily into the cabinet. The height is just perfect for building when he is standing. We will probably buy a second one of these soon.
