Not worth it. We used it maybe for his first week home. It's awkward to wash, awkward to put on. Just learn how to swaddle really well with a regular receiving blanket. That'll be more than enough.

I highly recommend the fleece sleep sacks for a winter baby. I bought more than one once I began using because I found that when my baby spit up I wanted to clean and get the smell out before wrapping for night time. So I washed frequently and always needed one on hand. I recommend the fleece if not the summer. I used the cotton ones, but found they shrank up too much when washed. They are so easy to use and we used for the first 3 months every day. It is so much easier then trying to swaddle with a blanket and my baby loved the warmth and swaddle pressure provided by them. They were a life saver since I found swaddling with a blanket frustating and the swaddle came loose too often. Some negatives are the velcro tabs sticks to other things when I washed them. The velcro tabs also lose some strength after several months of use when put in dryer often. I recommend air drying or lower heat and don't wash with things that can be pulled by velcro. blankets, etc. Overall I have to say well worth it.

newborn 7lbs does not fit well. baby really doesn't like. maybe as baby gets bigger he'll do better with this. velcro sticks to everything.

Our newborn seems exceptionally squirmy and exceptionally strong-- no matter how skillfully and snugly we swaddle her with a blanket, she gets her arms free and wakes herself up frequently. Last night, I decided to try out the sleep sack. As usual, I didn't set my alarm for her late-night feeding, figuring she'd wake me up long before then, anyway. My mistake! I woke up after four hours, and she was still sleeping soundly, still nicely swaddled! I changed her, fed her, and put her back down, and she slept soundly for another three hours. After a week of nearly-sleepless nights, I am ECSTATIC.

My son was born in December, we wrapped him up in this over his jammies and did not worry about him getting too cold. He can get his arms out of a regular blanket swaddle but not this - which helps him sleep. We have other sleep sacks but I really like the swaddle feature on this!
Wish they had the swaddle band thing in bigger sizes - he was a big baby!

I can't wait to use this sleep sack with my new arrival. With my first I was always afraid of blankets and that he would be too cold. This sack is great, it'll keep him warm with out the worry. Plus the swaddle feature will keep him quiet and sleeping.

I received one of these in the hospital when our
daughter was born as a gift, She was also wrapped up
in one of these blankets in the hospital.
The first time I used this blanket I fell in love
with it. I will never turn back to using a regular
blanket while putting my newborn to sleep.

What I love about these blankets is they come in
all sizes, shapes and designs. Your mind can be
at ease when you use these safe blankets because
they help reduce Sids.

My husband and I would recommend this to anyone
and everyone. We haven't had ANY trouble with
this blanket and it keeps our baby nice and cozy.
