The ERGObaby Heart2Heart Organic Infant Insert in blush beige, in combination with our ERGObaby carrier, enables you to buy one carrier to assist you through all the stages of your baby's growth. The ERGObaby Organic Infant Insert is a specially padded and shaped cushion that can be quickly and easily placed in the carrier and readjusted as needed. This design easily enables parents to ensure that their newborn is positioned correctly on the pillow, keeping pressure off the developing sacrum, and supports the development of the spine and hips. The ERGObaby Organic Heart2Heart Infant Insert snaps closed around the infant, holding the baby in a cozy, protected environment close to the heart, as well as in an ergonomically correct natural sitting position.

I bought this insert for the ErgoBaby carrier that I bought so I could carry my newborn baby anywhere and keep him close. The insert is soft and comfortable for my baby and he loves to ride in it. It works really well and my baby loves it. It keeps him close to me while I do other things.

i thought it would be neutral. babiesrus only offered it in 2 colors, blush beige and gray. it doesn't look pink in the pic online, but it is PINK.

needless to say i have a baby boy...

This is a great idea, but it didn't work for us. I tried it multiple times when my baby was younger, but it always ended up with his legs stuffed in and his knees in my abdomen. It was uncomfortable for both of us.

I love my Ergo carrier and I use it all the time now that he's older, and I would recommend the Ergo by itself, but I wouldn't recommend the infant insert. I loved (and would highly recommend) the Baby Bjorn when my baby was younger (under 6 months) even though he outgrew it way before he'll ever outgrow the Ergo.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I returned this item because I didn't like the color. I have the camel ergo carrier, and this looked bad in it. It is a lot more of a peach color than it seems in the picture. I will order the natural one instead.

Great for newborns - our girls were born early and are on the small side, Like that we were able to use the carrier earlier with this insert.
Why we like it:
1) Snuggly for the baby
2) Babies like to lie in it even out of the carrier
3) Easy to use with the carrier
We liked it so much we've given this product (with the carrier) as a shower gift!

I have a six week old who has a bit of reflux so we are supposed to keep her upright for at least a half hour after feeding. She can be very fussy when we put her down before she is in a deep sleepn and sometimes even fussy in the carriage. This, with the ergo carrier have made our lives so much easier. It is a lot easier to use than the moby wrap, which we have tried and are hit or miss with. She cried a little the first few times getting into it, but calmed right down with a bit of motion and rests snugly against my chest. The walks with our two dogs are so much more calm - no crying. I cannot say enough great things about this product.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
