    It's great fun, but a bit diappointing if your child doesn't own an MP3 player. Not a good purchase if you don't want your daughter going around singing the controversial song "I'm a Barbie Girl"!

            My daughter just got this for Christmas and was so excited to use it as she loves to sing but this microphone is a piece of junk. It doesn't amplify your voice at all...isn't that what a microphone suppose to do! My daughter is so disappointed and now I have to go and find another one! Don't waste your money on this!

                My daughter bought this and I think it was way too much money for it because it says it is a microphone and it is a speaker. It Lies on the packaging just to get little girls to buy it. A rip off for kids. I thought it would record her singing with it or at least be able to hear her with it doesn't even amplify.I feel bad because she used her birthday money and got a piece of junk.

                  It's not a microphone, it's a speaker. her barbie guitar w/the headpiece did more for her voice than this. She already has a microphone for an ipod so I felt ripped off

                    This product was totally disappointing because it does nothing. I expected that a microphone would amplify my daughter's voice. It does not. The description says that there would be some music pre-programmed for her to sing-along to. There is only a 20-second piece of "Barbie World" and it repeats endlessly. You can hook the product up to an MP3 player, but you cannot store any music. So, the child has to hold the MP3 player and the microphone simultaneously. Ridiculous for little fingers. I was much happier with the "microphone" from the [...] This product does the same at 10 x the cost, plus batteries. I would return it in a heartbeat, but my daughter loves it because she thinks it makes her look like a "rock star." Buy something else. I felt totally ripped off.
