I actually bought the gate to keep our puppy out of the living room. The opening was 5 feet so there weren't a lot of options for such a large opening. The gate was easy to install and is very sturdy. It is also very easy to remove and reinstall if we have guests.

This is a great product. Setup was done easily and quickly by my husband and it is easy to use by all. We have an elementary school age child and she uses it with very little difficulty. What I like the most is there is no where for the little ones to get their fingers caught/pinched when opening/closing the gate and it is not cheap looking or flimsy. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with little ones!

We use the gate to keep our toddler confined to one room. There is a big opening from our family room to the dining room. This gate is great! Easy to install, love the fact that you can walk through. Very sturdy. Our opening is 73 inches and this fits up to 72 inches so we had to make some adjustments. Wish it came with an extra extension.

Great gate to enclose our living room with a rather large opening. Easy to assemble and hang. Already has had several tests from our 2 children and has stood up to them. Would recommend if you have a large opening you need to gate off.

Got this gate to fit across our opening from the kitchen to living room and love it, it matches our decor its easy to use and it does its job! Its a chocolate brown color, the picture shows a gray color in case anyone wanted to verify for their decor.

We love this gate! It's the perfect height and we love the fact that it drills into the door frame. Our son is EXTREMELY strong and I knew that pressure mounts weren't going to cut it. I shopped around for a long time b/c I didn't want to jump the gun. I found this one and am in love with it. Not only does it screw in, but there's a way to take the entire gate down (in one piece). Great buy and we got it for a great price. Very happy. :)

We purchased two gates for our home.We were so happy to find the extra wide size we needed for our older home.The gates actually look nice! They blend in well with our lifestyle. We find them easy to operate even with one hand!(holding the baby with the other) Our son installed them for us in about one hour.They have even helped baby pull herself up! We feel they are SAFE, STURDY,
ATTRACTIVE and PRICED WELL.

Our daughter received this same gate in the smaller size as a baby shower gift. We were impressed with the look and sturdiness of it so we bought the 6' gate to make a boundary between our pups and our granddaughter. It is such a nice looking gate it doesn't stand out when you enter the room. Even this longer gate has a very sturdy feel, really nice quality and style. I definitely recommend it!
