My husband & I wanted to buy an inexpensive set that we could exchange for a cute youth bed set in a few years time. Not sure if we'll get that much time since its one day and its damaged. Wonder if this will really last 2/3 years. We purchased the crib, nightstand and 6 drawer dresser. The crib & nightstand were fairly easy to put together & so far seem ok (although we haven't used anything yet). Now the dresser is a whole different story. It is made of particle board w/ a dark alder coating. There are tons of pieces to put together, expect 3/4 hours. Half way through putting it together, once it was rightsided up we realized the coating on the bottom front had been missing. The top corner was dented & there were nicks in it...not sure if from moving it about to put together or came that way. Also one of the drawer pieces was broken. I called and unfortunately the dresser is out of stock so they have to send the 3 pieces in the mail. Hopefully these 3 pieces don't come damaged...and hopefully when reasembling w/ the new pieces it doesn't get more nicked & unsturdy... we may have to then take the dresser, crib & nightstand apart...repack, send back and order a better quality new nursery set.
Very stressful & annoying to have to go through all this but you get what you pay for. It just might be worth buying a more expensive, quality set that will last at least 5 years until you need that youth set, or even a more expensive set where the dresser & nightstand will last until college...something solid wood that gets delivered already put together. It might just save money, stress & aggrevation in the long run.

We bought this dresser because it closely color match the Baby Cache Tampa crib in espresso color. We have two main functions with this dresser, one is to store baby clothes and other is using the top as a changing table. Dresser seem sturdy, drawers slide in and out just fine, and everything line up properly.[...]. They included more nails and some screws just in case.Instruction was a little hard to follow but I figured it out. Took about two weekend hours to completely put together.

We put this dresser on our registry and received it as a gift. Several pieces were damaged when we unwrapped it. Many of the pieces were not labelled clearly, and the directions were confusing and frustrating to interpret. When we got it together (it took about 2 hours), the drawers did not fit nicely (one is loose and we have to push it upwards for the one underneath to slide in). It looks nice aside from the damaged parts and is basically functional for what we need. The drawers are roomy and slide smoothly, aside from the one that needs to be pushed up.

I knew when I ordered this item online that it wasn't going to be the highest quality item since it was DIY assembly furniture but I didn't realize how poor of quality it was going to be. Maybe 4 of the 60 parts were labeled and took forever to put together. Once assembled the sturdiness of the dresser is still wobbly due to the cheap nature of the fasteners. We are now working on a way to reinforce it.

This dresser is for my new baby that is coming. I love the size and the deep drawers. The instructions were a little difficult. The steps weren't explained properly. But I ended up figuring it out. I love it so far. Doesn't seem easy to scratch up or anything.
