I positively love this carrier! I have been using this carrier since my daughter was 5 months old. She has always been at the higher end of weight for her age and this device was perfect for travel to and from work. I am still using it and she is nearly 14 months old. I was always comfortable and had no problem carrying her for long bouts of time!!!!

Got this carrier because I was interested in the extra waist support it offered, and the extra shoulder padding. This carrier was very uncomfortable and awkward for me. The back straps do not cross, there is a clip that clips them together too high on my back and leaves the rest of your back open, offering no support in the stronger area of your back. My baby also hung foward in it on the front shoulder straps tightest position. Not well made...liked my less expensive carrier better.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My baby is now 2 years old, but we used this carrier really throughout the three stages, in front facing in since he was 2 weeks old, then in front facing out at 8-9 months or so. And then as a backback which we really enjoyed because it let our hands and lap free.
It is really well built and sructured, there is no fear of your baby slipping off. It has a lot of security and it is very comfortable to wear. has a waist band which takes a lot of the weight of the shoulders to the back so you never get tired in your shoulders,
It has a manly look which made my husband used it more often than I.
I have given it to one of my best friends for her baby.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was given 3 different carriers (including this one) as gifts. This is by far my least favorite. Really hard to adjust and put baby in/take baby out. Very uncomfortable to wear. Impossible to switch between Mom & Dad because adjusting is so hard. The hassle of getting it on and baby in is only worth it for a long period of time, but it's not comfortable to wear for very long.
On the positive side, it's the only one my husband uses because he wanted a more structured carrier.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
