    The blanket is nice and soft and it coordinates with the appropriate bedding set. However, I purchased this as a wall hanging because of the surfboard but was disappointed when it arrived. The embroidered surfboard is only a couple inches tall, although there is no way to distinguish that from the picture and it is not mentioned in the description. I returned it because it was not a surfboard blanket as I expected but just a blanket with a small surfboard on it. If you are looking for a plush, blue blanket, it did seem very nice, it was well-stitched, and it looks like it would hold up in the washing machine.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      love this blanket, it's super soft and keeps baby warm. even after a few washes it still has that soft feel.
