My 4 yr old loves this bike. He's been pretty rough with it, and shares it with our neighbors 3 kids. It gets used and abused daily. It has held up remarkably well. I worry he may outgrow it quickly..However I have a feeling he will insist on riding it long past that point. He was really drawn to it even after trying several other bikes 12 and 14 inch. He repeatedly went back to this bike. As an added bonus, I love that it is such a bright color making it easy to spot.

This bike was amazing at the store but a week outside and the paint was trashed! It turned all the orange white. Returned it and was only allowed to get the same bike Nd they said to buy the extra warranty. I did. New bike turned ugly and paint is not covered. I will never shop at toys r us again.

I bought this bike for my sons 3rd birthday... actually I bought it a couple months before his birthday and couldn't wait to give it to him and wanted him get use out of it before the winter. I wasn't going to, but I ended up having to buy it assembled as there were only 2 left in stock… both assembled. After reading these reviews it seems like the extra cost was worth it. Getting to the actual bike: it's a great, solid bike and a good size for a 2½+ year old beginning rider. The hand brakes and foot pegs on the front wheel are a joke and are only for looks (which they do look good), unless your son is Tony Hawk Jr. I don't have any negative comments or can think of anything I would want to see different in a bike.

Love at first sight. Finally a bike that looked like it just popped out of xgames for little guys. It looked tough, street, and reminded me of the early 80"s BMX. Had to get it for my son. Even though the forks where tight like others mentioned, I had little to no problem assembling this bike. I actually enjoyed it. It was a little stiff to get going when first riding but after 5 minutes it was loose and he was rolling. Hate to say it cause of how much we liked it but I greatly wish I had gotten him a different bike. It was super bright orange when we got it. After the first week we noticed many spots where paint was off and the bike went from bright orange to white/light peach withing the following week. As cool as it once was, no boy deserves an ugly bike. Good luck

Not sure what all the complaining is about. Our 3year old absolutely loves this bike!! It seems that all the negative reviews have to do with your inability to assemble the bike and that is no one's fault but your own.

Note: Next time, pay the $10 to have it assembled for you at the store.

We're headed to the park now for a bike ride!

This bike is the biggest joke we got this bike for our sun for Easter and at 1230 am the thing is in pieces still. cant get the handle bar to go up. and the directions fo rthe bike are not for a 12inch bike but for a 16 or 20 inch bike. Also to top it off they put the wrong screws in and overtightend them so you can't unlosen the sctews to get the handle bars to adjust. this is the biggest waste of money and my son will be very disapointed not to have a easter present hope that makes Dyna Craft Happy. Will never buy another bike from this company again.

This Bike is so cool looking and very practical for my 3 year old. If I put the seat all the way down he can point his toes and have balance reaching the ground as he mounts the bike. My son is average height maybe a little on the taller side so if your little one is smaller with shorter legs he/she may have trouble reaching the ground and would need assistance getting on and off the bike. The hand brakes are more of a cosmetic item as my son can not squeeze them, so it perfect that there is a coaster brake!

should have listened to the other reviews. I was very disappointed with overall quality of this product. Spent a little more somewhere else and now my son is safe and happy.

bought for my 3 yr old son and it worked out great! 6 months later he was riding without training wheels. great starter bike!!
