I bought this at BRU great trade in event. This carseat has the tallest shell of any convertible carseat. My daughter has a long torso and is 2 1/2 and still rear facing. I want to keep her rear facing as long as possible but with her long torso my choice of car seats is limited. This seat is excellent! She has so much room! She loves the purple (its her favorite color).
Pros: This carseat will last longer then any other convertible carseat.
Great side impact protection
My daughter isn't able to undo the chest clip herself (she could in her spare Myride65)
Cute design
Cons: The install the first couple times is a little difficult. Once you get the hang of it its easy though.
The straps are very close together and rub against the neck (which is easily fixed by pulling her shirt or collar over the edge of the belt.

A note to anyone getting or that has this seat. To get the proper recline with almost any car you need to use a tightly rolled towel or a pool noodled wedged in the crack of the seat (for rear facing) for the carseat to not be too upright. I've owned MANY different carseats and this is the first one I have had to use a rolled towel with to install.
Enjoy! A great seat that will definitely last you to booster age! My boyfriends 6 year old still fits in this seat heightwise and his 7 year old still fits heightwise but is over the weight limit.
Oh another important note. This seat will NOT fit a newborn. The lowest harness slots are 10". The straps need to come from BELOW the shoulders. This seat doesn't fit the average torso'd baby until they are 6 months old. I've seen it fit longer torso'd 4 month olds, but never any younger then that!!

It was love at first sight, and the safety information and reviews allowed me to convince my Husband that we should buy this one for my car and another (better deal, less "pretty", same safety info) for his. HOWEVER, when I took it to the Fire Station to be installed (rear facing), the Fireman told me that this seat is simply too big for my vehicle -- which is a Honda PILOT! We tried it in the center position first, then he placed it (reluctantly) behind the passenger seat. It works, and was installed solid as a rock, but the passenger would have little to NO leg room up front. It was fine when I rode that night, but I'm 5'2. My Husband said no way -- there would be times that he or someone else would be my passenger, and it just doesn't make sense to keep it because it's pretty. :( Of course I know he's right, but gosh was it heartbreaking!

Back to the positives though - especially I guess if you're putting it in a mini van or tank where it'll fit --- the Fireman also said that it's one of the best he's seen, and he's been certified & installing for years. He said it was very easy to install, loved the head protection, ease to adjust as the little one grows - everything. He was very clear to me -- the best seat is the one that can be installed well (and quickly) in YOUR vehicle, and you can keep your child properly buckled into.

Tip: The additional information on each seat lists measurments, but none of those are for the key measure you'll need. Not length, width or height, but the diagonal height from the spot that it hits the back of the seat (at the base), to the tip-top above the head. That's how much room it'll take up between the backrest of the back seat to the headrest area of the front seat.

Good luck shoppers, who knew this would be so difficult?!

We bought this car seat for my daughter when she turned 1 year old. Great convertible car seat! Fit in the middle of our mid-sized SU-V perfectly with room on both sides for passengers. Loved the lite, breathable fabric and how easily it was installed into our car. The cup holder came in handy too! My family and I were recently rear-ended in a car accident, thankfully we were all okay! But we had to replace the car seat. I immediately sent my husband to Toy-R-Us to pick up this exact one again, only to be disappointed to learn they discontinued it and released the 70 model instead! I loved this car seat and was so unbelievably thankful it did it job in protecting my daughter!

We bought this seat for our first child were so happy with the buy because of the safety ratings, but soon were disappointed when we realized it would not fit in our hyundai santa fe in the rear facing position. We kept it but had to leave it in a closet for a few months until our child met the height and weight requirements for forward facing. Now that we have it in the forward facing position we are pleased with it.Already thinking of buying another for our second when she can be forward facing.

I absolutely love the car seat...but it is an absolute pain to take apart to clean. It took me an hour to take it apart then once I washed it i noticed that the material that the seat is made of started to unthread and come apart. I'm sooooooo not happy!! Now I have to purchase a new car seat cause the seat is all to shreds!!

    This has been a great seat for our one year old! I love how versatile it is and that it's going to last her a long time. We've had it for three months and it still feels like it's brand new. The padding is very fluffy and seems to be very comfortable for our daughter to stay in, even for long periods of time. We definitely recommend it!

          My sister got this for us at our baby shower. I would ONLY use a convertible seat because it's the most sensible choice. This was on my registry because of the great reviews.
          Anyway, it's AMAZING. Since birth, it has fit my daughter great, and she is so comfortable in it! It's a bit big, but we have a Ford 500 and it fits great in the middle seat. The safety latches make me so much more secure with my choice! The air pockets on the side didn't go down far enough at first, but in no time my little one grew so her head was at the side of them.
          She's seven months now and still loves it!

          I bought this chair for my daughters first birthday. Very pretty and looked comfortable. It's very bulky and heavy so it's hard to be carrying it around. The worst part is taking it apart to wash and when I washed it the purple fabric came lose all over! I tried looking at the labels to see if there was any washing precautions and there wasn't so I washed it alone and now I have to sew it all up. How do u expect to buy a chair and not be able to washed it!

                I purchased this a little over a year ago for my preschooler. She had been using her old carseat for almost three years and it was time for a new one.

                She is now 5 1/2, 48", 45 lbs and it still "fits the bill". Considering that the seat is safe for use up to 65 lbs and 52", I think we will get at least another year out of it before she is too tall for it.

                I went for this one because of the "air" technology. Initially, I thought she would be annoyed with the large pillow like things on either side of her head but she has never mentioned it. I suppose since she sits in the middle of the back seat, she is most often looking forward anyway.

                As an added bonus, the "air" head protection is lovely when she falls asleep! We have used this car seat on a LONG roadtrip and it was great to not have to worry that she was uncomfortable in it. Technically, she is old enough, heavy enough and tall enough for a booster - but why switch her when the 5-point carseats provide so much extra safety and comfort when sleeping?

                My only suggestion: The padding throughout the rest of the seat (back and bottom) seems adequate but could benefit from a thicker layer of foam if re-designed. Hard to say how comfortable it is for kids given that we are too big to try it out ourselves, but it seems lacking in padding when I press on it.

                She can undo the chest clasp herself, but still struggles to unlock the bottom clasp - In my opinion, a good thing.

                The seat still looks great and she does eat/drink in the car. I have not yet needed to remove the cover, so I'm not sure how well that comes on/off and how well it washes.

                I own a 2007 Chevy Equinox/Pontiac Torrent (Mid-size SUV). Fits perfectly in that. I have had to put 3 car seats in the back on occassion and if I removed the detachable cup holder from this one, all 3 did fit... Tight, but they fit. The seat is a bit bulky and I'm not sure how well it would work in a sedan, and in a coupe - forget it.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
