I dont know who these people are but if they couldnt manage to install this seat in a car, they have no business OPERATING a motor vehicle.

We registered for this seat while I was still pregnant, intending for our son to transition to it once he outgrew his infant seat. He turned out to be small for his age, and at 13 months is just getting too tall for his infant seat, so we tried to install this seat rear facing in our 2008 Nissan Sentra. It didn't happen.

This seat requires a recline so far back that it would have made us have to ride in the car all hunched over. In addition, the seat would have had to have been propped up by towels or noodles by about 6 inches, which didn't seem safe. Hubby and I tried 3 different times to make this work and it just didn't. It would fit perfectly for FF, but not for RF, and I'm not going to risk my kid's safety just to use this seat; we'll buy another brand. If your can is big enough, or you're FFing, this seat would be great. Otherwise, keep looking.

I wanted to add some pics to illustrate that certain people's rude comments that claim anyone who can't fit this seat is an "idiot" are ridiculous and idiotic.

We were looking for a carseat for my husband's truck and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money since it wouldn't be used often. It also had to be on the slim side to fit in the back seat of his truck. This carseat is an ordinary, okay carseat so it fit the bill for the occasion. The only thing we don't like is that sometimes the straps are difficult to loosen and tighten, they don't always want to stay even.

      My son was in a car accident with my mom. The car ran a red light and t-boned my mom's car. Everyone in the car was injured and is still going through physical therapy. My son was in this car seat and didn't even have a scratch on him. He was running around the urgent care like he was at the park. I strongly recommend this car seat.

        We bought two of these, one for each car and absolutely love them. I don't understand some of these other comments people are giving. The seat is in tight, I can EASILY adjust the straps and it does fit in both our van, and a small Kia Spectra. I plan to keep my daughter rear-faced as long as I can so it's great that this seat can rear-face up to 40lbs!

          good seat, just hard to stabilize in rear facing position. Had to use 2 rolled up towels to get it to not wobble. seems to be comfortable, and safe. the head wings are a little large and hard for baby to see side to side. My next pick was going to be a britax, but they are so expensive....So for the money overall its a safe seat to get!

          I registered for this item and chose it based on safety ratings. Unfortunately, when it was time to use the car seat when my daughter was 9 months old we realized that it did not fit in either mine or my husbands SUV's when installed properly for rear facing. I was extremely disappointed because because my registry was over 6 months old we did not get the full amount for the car seat when we returned it. DO not buy this seat for rear facing!

              We were in a bad car accident about a year ago and my son at the time was 1 & 1/2 our truck was completely totaled i had a concussion and fractured neck my daughter hurt her back and my son didnt even notice we were in a car accident the air protect impact thing works amazing it inflates like mini air bags and my son was perfectly fine, we now have a 4 month old baby and will be purchasing one of these for him. I read thru these other reviews and some people say its hard to adjust the straps there is a button to release the straps and you just pull them its super easy and also to tighten it you just pull one strap very simple and easy to do even with baby in the car seat.

              The only cons i do give this carseat is its very heavy and bulky but IMO its better to have a big and sturdy carseat than a flimsy cheapy one have 3 carseats in our sedan its a tight fit but we make it work

                  This car seat overall is a good product. I bought it for my son who just turn 6 months old. He out grew his infant car seat. I drive a 2003 Corolla and the car seat seemed too big for my car. I didn't have room to adjust the driver or passenger seat because the car seat took up so much room. I also found that the adjustable headrest did not come down far enough for my son, so his head was all over the place when he fell asleep. I would recommend this product to anyone, as long as you have the car space for it.
