Comments about Maclaren Quest Stroller - Grey/Pink:

Love, Love, Love this stroller!! Bought this in blue over a year ago when my little guy turned one and have used it on a daily basis since then. It has held up very well considering the abuse I've put it through! It's light weight, easy to open and close, takes up virtually no space in my trunk and my son seems to enjoy the ride and always looks so comfortable. The recline is wonderful and the foot rest is a little flimsy feeling but it's held up much better than I thought it would. I'm also pretty tall (5'10") and the handle height is great for me.

Only complaints I have are that there is no cup holder and the basket space is very limited but it IS technically an umbrella stroller.

When I was picking out a new stroller to replace our giant bulky travel system ("the tank") it came down to 3 different ones: the Combi Flare, and another umbrella by chicco. The Maclaren won out because I got a great deal on it and the weight limit was 10-15 lbs more than either the Combi or Chicco.

This stroller is one of the top items I've ever purchased for our son... and I've purchased a lot. I have said repeatedly if we ever have another baby I'm going to start with one of the lighter weight strollers and skip the bulky travel systems entirely!

Bottom line: Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Comments about Maclaren Quest Stroller - Grey/Pink:

My husband and I got the quest sport from our babiesrus store, but in a different color (the black and champagne one was stocked in store). We were torn between the quest and the techno XT. Unfortunately, they do not have the techno XT in store to view and try out.

We took the quest home and it was assembled in the box. It did not include a raincover, and I thought all maclarens included a free rain cover. Many other retailers include this, and maclaren states this on their website too.

Anyways, we are looking for a lightweight stroller that is durable and compact, but comfortable, safe, and suitable for as long as possible (ideally from birth until child is very heavy).

This quest is great- it has 4 reclining positions and goes to about a 30 degree angle. We are going with the techno b/c it will recline to nearly flat position, which is better for an infant. The stroller is SOOOO easy to recline. The canopy is great for a lightweight stroller. The storage underneath is not huge, but adequate for the basics or a small diaper bag. Very easy to maneuver, easy to fold, gender neutral, and my husband and I both liked it. My husband is 6'1" and I am 5'3" and it was comfortable for both of us.

We are going to go with the maclaren techno XT, b/c for $100 more, we can use it at birth with a flat recline position, it has a bigger canopy and extendable/adjustable handles, and is still only 14.2 pounds. I am going to look at other retailers to see if I can get one that includes the raincover.

light stroller, fits well in the trunk along with groceries (tried a full size stroller but groceries ended up on the back seat:)
the canopy is not large enough for sunny summer days but be bought an extension and works great; basket is not large for shopping but unfortunately cannot have it all.
easy to fold, even with one hand
i would change the recommended age as we were able to use it for our girl starting 7-8 months (she was too small for it)

This was my best purchase, my daughter is my first child and I'm learning that packing light it the way to go. this stroller is very light weight, fold up easy and the mere fact that I can recline her seat is a major point as well. folding this stroler is so easy and you can place it anywhere in the car, it's not bulky. the prices point is high but worth every penny.

Comments about Maclaren Quest Stroller - Grey/Pink:

My daughter is 2 and I knew she would need a stroller for a little longer--but her travel system stroller was so bulky and had outlived it's need.

I wanted a lightweight stroller but still wanted a "nice" one as the cheap umbrella strollers seemed--well, cheaply made.

Although this stroller is expensive, all things considered, it is worth EVERY penny. It folds up to one third the size of our old stroller. It has a carrying handle AND a strap to use so that if you need to you can carry the baby AND the stroller--at the same time! It's very easy to control and you can easily steer it into a store while opening the door with your other hand. IT turns with no effort whatsoever, and is easy to open/close. The seat is more upright for an older child, but also reclines if you need it to. It still has a basket that is pretty big--considering it is an umbrella stroller. AND, it's sunshade is fairly large and very maneuverable--all amazing because again, this is an umbrella stroller.

My only regret is that I did not get this a year ago. I LOVE this stroller.

The one downside is that there is not a cupholder---but if you get a drink with a cap on it you can put it in the little bag that hangs behind the handles. So, it's not really a complaint after all. Again, I love this stroller.

Comments about Maclaren Quest Stroller - Grey/Pink:

I have done ALOT of research on light weight strollers over the past couple of weeks. This stroller, although pricey, always ended back up on my computer screen. I am so glad it did! I purchased this stroller because i used the travel set that Graco made since my daughter was born. It was bulky, got stuck in isles in the stores and was heavy to fold up and put into my truck. Beacuase I always have her shopping, walking, ect.. i needed something more "do-able". The great things about this stroller is it is VERY easy to handle, it turns well, and it MUCH lighter then other stroller. It also takes up ALOT less space in the truck so more space for other things. The only negative i have run into is when i read the directions they are not too informative. GREAT PURCHASE- i reccomend it to anyone.
