Definitely nicer to have in the summer. It covers baby's whole body
while walking in the sunny summer. Looks a bit breezier, too, than
the normal canopy.

This is an excellent add-on to the Bee. Despite the extra cost, it is well worth it for those sunny summer and spring days ( don't take your child out if it is too hot, humid or extra dry). It shields our baby completely while providing some vent and freeing her from passerby insects or debris.
It was also a stylish change-up from the regular pink canopy. Our only regrets was not having it any sooners.
