I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She has now been using it for almost 2 months. She loves it! It's a good size for her, has clear sound, and a good range of tone depending on level of pressure applied, volume of amp, etc. Although it is light weight, it might be awkward to hold for a younger child. I wouldn't recommend this guitar for children under 10, unless they have a larger physique, and understand the basic concept of how fragile an instrument can be. I'm sure this guitar is durable, but the design itself could probably be ruined easily considering the A frame style. Great purchase, so glad we got it!

Did not come with an adaptor. It requires a 14V and can not find one in the midsouth. Will be returning it. Bad Santa=Sad kid

Pretty good! I learned how to play tabs and stuff with this guitar and its really good.....hard part is tuning. I switch from drop D to standard and its pretty hard to tune it.... Overall, good sound. Its a bummer there's no plug for the amp but oh well. Its well made and I've had it for a few years and the neck is still straight. If you need to tune it, get on youtube and search for your desired tuning (standard, drop d, etc.) If you memorize some parts of songs and tune the guitar accordingly to the riffs, you don't even need a tuner.

Horrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needs lots of improvement !!!!! Brakes very easy and it's tune is bad. Buy a better one than this.

Style is very cool, but original strings are terrible. Impossible to tune. Been playing over 20 years but never had so much set up trouble. After putting on some decent strings sounds great and my 11 year old son loves it. Only other problem is the mini amp has no power cord so you need a couple 9V batteries to use it. YOU NEED AN EXPERIENCED GUITAR PLAYER TO REPLACE THE STRINGS AND TUNE THIS UP OR IT WILL JUST BE A DISTURBUING NOISE MACHINE.

It's incredible that the AC adaptor it is not included. Also this 14V adaptor it is not easy to get in any electronic store.

The only way to get it is buying a separate amplifier for $30.00 and you will get two amplifiers, one guitar and one AC adaptor.

Will somebody help me to get the AC Adaptor ???

Got this for my youngest son for Christmas (8 yrs old). The amp was missing the plug which I had a 14V transformer plug I can use for it. But the worst is that the guitar is impossible to tune. you can tune the strings to themselves but the chrods dont sound right. This is because of the intonation. Tried to set the intonation and I have the bringe springs all the way back and the intonation is still out. Seems the lower bridge is about 1/4"- 1/2" to close to the neck. Unfortunatle Santa brought this to him and now I have to figure out how to trade it out and hopefully the store will let me check the trade before leaving the store.

The amp does not come with the 14V adapter, so you need to run it off of 2 9V batteries, or go buy and adapter.
