My 4 year old grandson loved his guitar! As soon as he unwrapped it he started playing and asked grandpa to "tune it up"! Great product, nice sound, he loves it!

This was a gift for our 5yo's birthday. We first bought the *EXACT SAME* guitar, but with a different "cars" design at the store for [$]. Then we saw this online for a third of the price (weird...). Returned that one and got this. If it were for [$] I wouldn't be very happy, it's far from a real guitar even after we had it tuned, it's not really in tune. But it definitely has the feeling, and does produce some reasonable sound, so for [$], and for a 5yo, it was a very good purchase.

bought this product on january, at the register we were offered warranty and was told they will fix or replace this item for any type of damage or any reason. So we thought that is a great coverage since we r buying this for a 4yr old. March and one of the string broke (where u cant even re-connect it) So i said, its ok cuz we have warranty! I called repairnow.com and was told "strings are not covered" They will not fix nor replace the product. I am really disappointed. With the item cuz it broke in just 2 mos of use. With ToysRUs cuz they told us to purchase the addtl protection plan and it will cover any damage, that it will be replaced at any reason. And to the protection plan, for it did nothing for us. Dont buy the protection plan, it'll just cost you extra $$.

Ordered it for a gift for Christmas and order was messed up so I tried Toy's R Us and recieved in promptly and grandson was tickled to death that he got his guitar! Thanks for such awesome service during the Christmas rush-- well pleased and sastified!!!

My son received this guitar for Christmas and absolutely loves it. He loves that it is a Cars Guitar and that the strings actually play. I know nothing about guitars but had someone close to me tune it before my son started playing it. It sounds great and he has had hours of entertainment already. I think this will be a toy that will be played with for several years to come!

I ordered this on line for my grandson who just loved it. The guitar has good sound and is a good size for him to experiment with music on his own.

Okay, I just want to clarify reviews. This is not a real guitar. It is a toy. It does tune for about 5 minutes and then loses its tune. Seriously over priced because they are capitalizing on the Cars 2 movie. Like all other Cars merchandise you are paying for the name. We only got this because one my son loves Cars and two my musician husband is modifying it so that it does stay in tune. Otherwise yes, it sounds horrible.

My nephew wouldn't put this down! The guitar strap and picks in the accessory kit (sold separately)were helpful, but I wouldn't recommend the strap for small children (strangulation hazard). This guitar is plastic and needed to be tuned after opening, but has good sound quality for a toy guitar.
