This is in my daughter's room and we love it. We use it primarily in the middle of the night for feedings (I nurse) and it's great. It's a super comfy chair and we've had NO problems with it whatsoever! I'm surprised by the negative reviews regarding squeaking, making noise, etc. I have not had that problem. We love the look of it, and my husband, who is quite large (6'2" and 220lbs) fits comfortably in it also! He actually wants to bring it downstairs so he can watch TV in it! We love it, great buy. And the rich brown color matches our daughter's room, which is mint green, with pink and brown accents. I love that i can put my head back and I have even fallen asleep in it while my baby nurses. I'm short (5'2") so my head rests nicely on the back.

We special ordered this chair in May 2010 and recieved it in August. I read the reviews below and am shocked by some of the problems people have had. The rocker still sits in my daughter's room and is used occasionally, but we've never had any squeaking issues. When my daughter was younger we used it on a daily basis, but only for an hour or two per day. As far as I can tell the chair is still in perfect condition and is actually going to be used by a really close friend of mine when she has her baby in July 2012.

Giving this product a "One Star Rating" is way too generous. I spent WAY too much on this piece of junk and will be returning it tomorrow after months of attempts to quiet it. The chair is VERY comfortable to sit in and I fell in love with it at the store BUT This garbage squeaked the moment we got it home and we have tried everything to get it to stop, including a special lube online. What a disappointment! Nothing like trying to rock your newborn to Also, this oversized rocker will not fit through standard door frames. This ridiculously squeaky piece of junk...save your money and buy something else!

This chair is the worse piece of junk ever. It was fine for the first 3 months. Then the base started squeaking and ended up having to use some heavy grease to quiet the noise. Now I have to keep the chair on a rug cause I worry about the grease getting on the carpet.
The base has also become very clunky and noisy. It's not possible to rock smoothly or quietly. Luckily, the noise the chair makes while rocking seems to be soothing to the baby like being on a train or something. It's only soothing to the baby though. It makes me angry. It's a constant reminder that I paid so much money for this piece of junk.
At one point, a nut and bolt came loose and fell out of the base. This made a big noise as a corner of the chair fell and was no longer in any condition to rock. This happened in the middle of the night and I was so tired already. I had to put my crying baby down and go get some tools to fix it.
As if all this wasn't enough, the chair itself has wore down in such a way that it hurts my back to sit in it. I have to put a pillow down in the lower back area.
At this point, I have had the chair less than 6 months and now I need to go buy a new chair. I am very upset with this chair and I really want my money back, but I'm sure that won't happen. So much for trying to pay off some debt.

This chair was purchased for nursing following the birth of my son. Shortly after we got it home we started to notice little discolorations on the carpet under the rocker. After a just a few weeks we found tiny little bearing balls. The rocker assembly sits on 4 bearings. One of the bearings cracked and popped out of the frame. The chair will no longer rock. There is no way to contact the company that made it for a repair idea. I am stationed over seas currently so I have no recourse to correct this
