The suction on my Lansinoh breastpump was very weak because of small tears on the valves. I can't find replacement parts for it anymore since it is a discontinued model. I was told by Lansinoh that Ameda parts will fit my discontinued breastpump model and so I ordered these valves and viola! It works like new again. I am so glad I didn't have to buy a whole new pump. It was a very simple and inexpensive fix. I also love that they come in a pack of two. The valve material is pretty thin and delicate at the bottom so they don't last forever. Especially if you pump daily.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use my Ameda pump 1-2x/day. I am exclusively breast feeding and baby is now 6 weeks old. These valves are the first thing that wears out on the pumps per my lactation specialist and the sales rep. They said if you feel a lack of suction, 90% of the time it is failure due to gaps in the valve openings. Turns out I was too rough cleaning the valves as well, which is why I had to buy replacements 6 weeks in. The valves are great but don't force them open when collecting your milk or cleaning them!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
