These are terrific for storing pumped milk. They also attach to ameda pump i rented from hospital. Easy to attach to breast shield as well. NO LEAKS! Great if you need to shake up formula too!

Pros:
- attach to any pump I have tried (Medela Harmony manual pump and Ameda Purely Yours double electric)
Cons:
- caps with those stupid discs aren't a good seal. My milk went bad faster than if I used a Medela bottle with an actual cap, or even just other bottles (like Born Free). It's also an extra part to clean.
- only marks up to 4 oz even though it can fit more. I started pumping more than that on each side pretty quickly. Medela and a lot of other bottles do at least 5 oz.
- took up too much space for only 4 oz.
- I couldn't find nipples that fit well. Everything leaked. Therefore, ruined the point of using these bottles for storage as I then had to transfer to another bottle anyway.

I suggest finding a bottle that works for your baby, then try to find an adapter for that bottle to connect to your pump (for example, you can order an adapter for the Born Free bottles direct from the manufacturer). Do not bother with special storage bottles. If you do longer term storage, the bags make more sense so you can do large quantities in the freezer.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought these because I wanted additional bottles to go with my Ameda Purely Yours Pump. They also fit the Medela Symphony pump, which I just started renting from my local hospital. They are simple little bottles that don't leak, even when you shake them.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
