I can honestly say that these gel pads are the reason I was able to continue breastfeeding during those excruciatingly painful first weeks. I've now made it to 2 months and going strong! I am so thankful for this product. They are truly amazing and work wonders for sore nipples. The instant you put them on you feel the relief and they provide much-needed protection from any friction or rubbing from bras/clothing. I was so uncomfortable that I wanted NOTHING touching my sore nipples and these did the trick. I was given these at the hospital by the lactation consultants, but I'd buy before delivery next time just to make sure I had them on hand. In my case they were crucial to breastfeeding success. They are pricey but in my opinion so worth it!

Poor latching caused me sore, traumatized nipples and I tried everything including the Medela hydrogel pads. Not only the did not help me but they were painful while I was wearing the. I had a consultation with an amazing LC and she gave me the Ameda hydrogels whisk are amazing! The moment I put them on they reduced the nipple pain and they helped in the healing process. After just two days my nipples look and feel better and I can nurse my baby whiteout tears in my eyes.

I was given these by the lactation consultant at the hospital. They were heaven sent!! They were exactly what I needed for my sore, cracking nipples. They last for 6 days. If they dry out before then, soak them in water for 5 min (be sure to set a timer and don't leave in too long). I wish I would havr known about these with my son.....I may not have started supplementing with formula so early.

I got these at the hopital and felt inlove! These were perfect for my sore, tender nipples, i was about ready to call it quits if it wasn't for these pads. The best part is that they can be reused up to 6 times.

I purchased these and was highly disappointed. They dried up within a 36 hour period. Way to expensive for only 36 hrs of use. They were supposed to last up to 5 or 6 days but didn't come close. The ones from the hospital were fantastic compared with these and were not the same brand. My experience (and purchase) could have been a fluke, however if I were looking for more hydrogel pads, I would look for another brand.

I used these in the hospital when I was learning to breastfeed. I was chafing terribly and these helped tremendously to get me through the first few weeks of breastfeeding. Take them to the hospital with you! And if you put them in the fridge or freezer while you are nursing and then use them -- AWESOME!

I never heard of these things until the hospital's lactation consultant encouraged me to use them. My husband bought the ones from the hospital store but these ones look & sound exactly like the same ones. Same color, same instructions, same everything.... These might be it, ONLY difference is that the hospital ones were double the price. Not kidding!

I used them my second day at the hospital right after my 2nd son was born, immediate pain relief. I just put them on and I didn't have to worry about my nursing bra sticking to my SEVERELY sore/raw/&worst nipples. Relief was a super help with getting me to bare the pains of incorrect latching & also gave comfort with the overall Breastfeeding experience. I breastfed my 1st son, I wish I had these.

You can reuse them for up to 6 days. Getting prepared for your baby can cost a lot of money, but my husband was okay with the price only because he paid double the cost last time.... And he knows & has seen the pains of breastfeeding. No arguments about the cost, when I asked for these! Lol!

I refrigerated my gel pads when I was released from the hospital & wow, even better. A great buy! And yes, a little pricier than other things out there, but **Hands down, true life savers.** Already have 1 pack in my hospital bag, feel a little more prepared this time, for the Breastfeeding part that is.... Child birth is full of surprises... But atleast I'm somewhat "relief ready" with my Ameda Comfortgel Hydrogel Pads... Definitely not a waste of money.

I had my second son when the lactation consultant told my husband to buy some the day after having my baby. Wow!!!! I wish I had these when we stayed in Europe & I had my first son. The pain of breastfeeding can be unbearable, but worth the pain for your most important little treasure. These Ameda Hydrogel Pads take the 'un' out of unbearable. I know breastfeeding is the *BEST option for your baby but the pain can be intense... The rawness, bleeding, sharp pains, blisters, and how your bra can stick to *you-know-what, can really get you to want to quit. BUY THESE! I'm having my third in three months and they're on my MUST HAVE list. This way you can give your baby stuff formula tries to imitate & you heal, help, and reward yourself by using these gel pads. Can't go wrong! You'll understand when you get there.

i used these for my first and am ordering them now for our second due in a few weeks. the first two weeks of nursing were excrutiating for me, i thought the pain was worse than giving birth! these little gel pads really helped me get through that toughening up period and made me heal faster from the early nursing trauma. i give these as gifts to every new mother i know who is planning to nurse. and i always hear back that they were a life saver. you don't use any breast or nipple creams with these which i really liked because the baby doesn't get any trace amounts of the cream.

These were so helpful when I was nursing my son! I had a horrendous cracked nipple and breastfeeding was extremely painful for the first few weeks. A lactation consultant recommended these and they were the first product to actually give me some relief.
