My 22 month old took to this immediately. He always pretend plays his grandma's piano and already has a keyboard bought from the second hand store. When we first opened the Big Piano, he imitated me by stomping the keys to get a noise. Then he fell to his knees and crawled and slid across the keys. It was so funny to watch. The only down side that I've found is that it only plays single keys when in playback mode. Otherwise, it plays programmed melodies when keys are played. The bonus is that he loves to hide in the box cover provided. What a hoot!

We have had2 of them in two days and neither have worked right. The first one was from Santa, it played exactly five notes and then died for good. The second one plays, but you can't play songs because the keys play a different note each time you step on it. E.G. If you step on the 1 key five times in a row it plays five different notes making it impossible to play a song. Piece of junk for the outrageous price.

I bought this for my 17mo b/c he really enjoys music. From the moment I put it out on the floor, he was in love. Of course he cannot 'play' it just yet, but he finds great enjoyment in simply running back and forth on it. We leave it out all day and every time he goes into the kitchen, he has to make sure he runs across the piano on his way in. I like that it has the other instrument sounds as well. We haven't used any of the other features, but it appears to be good quality. The only thing I think would be a nice addition is that you could play more than one note at a time. Otherwise, it is a great, fun, musical product!

We received this as a Christmas gift. My boys took to it immediately -- cheering for it as soon as they unwrapped the present. They danced and tumbled on it for a while, then started using the numbers to "count" as they played the piano. I wish it were a little bit bigger just to accommodate both of them on it a little more safely. I hope it stands the test of time. It's a hit.

I don't understand how this product has any good reviews. It is very cheaply made and the plastic smelled horrible. The plastic is slick which is just a bad idea. The sound was tinny and poor. This was a Christmas gift but hopefully it can be returned or exchanged.

My 5 year old Granddaughter just loves it. It works flawlessly. The handle and carring case is a big plus! As well as playing it, she uses the autoplay to do dance routines. No one gave her instructions, yet she mastered all aspects within 30 minutes. I had another one that was bigger and cost more but I gave it away because it didn't have the features as the Schwarz big piano. I highly recommend it.

Just carrying this item out of the store sparked interest with other customers! J.R. jumped excitedly waiting for the batteries to be put in and spent the next couple of hours stepping, rolling, dancing, etc. to compose his music. Watching him with sheer glee on his face is worth a million! His mom says he keeps it out and ready for daily use.

I love the piano. I love the different sounds you can play on it. My only complaint is in the picture it looked like it would be a different material then it is. I got this for my 9month old son for Christmas. I knew he wouldn't understand how to use it until he got older but I thought we could play with him with it. The piano is made out of plastic an its the type of plastic that's really staticy an makes all the pet hair stick to it. My son has to have pants on when he plays with the piano because his skin sticks to the plastic an he can't crawl without his knees getting red an when he rolls the plastic sticks to him an it makes him not want to play with it much. I really do like this piano a lot an I hope when my son gets older that he will want to play with it more an hopefully the plastic wont bother him. This is a great product an I would recommend it but it is better for older kids.
