I actually like this set. I was given it as a shower gift and I use it all the time. I agree with the previous reviewer regarding the boredom of the white sheets, but you need more than 2 sheets anyways, so buy extra ones in bright colors. My sheets never shrunk, they are of good quality. I use sheet savers all the time - superb ones!!! Mattress pad is great too. Overall, I'm very happy with the item!

This set includes all the neccessary things. ALL of them are needed. The only drawback is that it has only white sheets, so you might want to buy printed and colored sheets separately;))

After washing, the sheets do not fit my standard size crib mattress anymore (I tested them beforehand to make sure) and it's not worth the price if two of the main items are useless. The mattress protectors are nice but they are thicker and bulkier than others that I have, so I will only use these 2 as back ups to my primary protector. The crib savers are smaller than I expected, although they are still very soft after washing. The mattress we ulitimately bought came with a waterproof covering and with the mattress protector, I do not think we even need them so I cut off the strings to use them on our changing pad instead. The waterproof pads are also small but will hopefully prove to be useful so that this was not a complete waste of my money!

Registered for this because I was overwhelmed by everything you need to make up the crib!! Thought I'd do 'one stop shopping' and just do this. The mattress pad, multi purpose pads and especially the sheet savers are great. (sheet savers are SUPER soft, although, the strings to tie to the crib are just a teeny bit to short, another 1/4 inch even would make it easier); but the one down side is the sheets. Prior to washing them, I noticed how they were not very soft, especially in comparison to the jersey material ones of other brands. I washed them, paying CLOSE attention to water temperature, gentle cyle, low/delicate dryer, etc. They shrunk!! a LOT!! No change in softness either. Fortunately, I do have other sheets. I think it's a fair price for all the items, but if 2 pieces of the 8 will render themselves unusable right off the bat, ehhh...I'd recommend this product to a friend I guess, however, with the caveat of: get plenty of the soft jersey knit sheets separately!
