Purchased this bed after trading in our older crib that had the collapsible side rail. Great for our smaller sized room, easily able to move bed down as baby grew and good quality, even considering the price.

We have 2 toddlers and a granddaughter. We gave the 2 year-old's crib to our granddaughter when we put him in a big-boy bed. Our youngest daughter is still in her crib. These cribs are very sturdy, were easy to assemble, and look very elegant. I bought them because they were reasonably priced and had great safety reviews. In the 2+ years we've used them, we have absolutely no complaints.

i fell in love with this crib at the store because it was sturdy, beautiful, and the price was great. we ordered it online because we couldn't order it from the store. we weren't sure what we were having so it worked great for either a boy or a girl. when we finally unpacked it there huge nicks all over the wood. they were like DEEP scratches into the wood and in some spots they just stained over it and shipped it out. and when my fiance put it together for me, half the screws didn't screw in right. we ended up returning it and getting a new crib.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
