Product Description

The Joovy Zoom ATS Jogging Stroller is the best featured jogging stroller on the market today. It is the largest [unfolded] jogger available, it has the highest push handle, a bigger and higher seat for better comfort and viewing. Also, a moms' favorite, it has a one hand recline system (unlimited recline positions), and a huge sun canopy for great sun protection. The Zoom ATS also folds into one of the most compact [folded] joggers. As with all Joovy strollers/joggers, the Zoom has a five point harness and a reflective package making it highly visible from all sides at night. It does not come with a car seat adapter. We do not suggest you take a newborn out in a jogging stroller, even with the suspension on the stroller they can get banged around. Once your child is old enough (approximately 6 months), take them out of the infant car seat and put them in the Zoom padded seat. Your child will then fit snuggly and comfortably.

Now, let's talk performance. The Zoom ATS, which stands for Aluminum Tubing Suspension (ATS) is a lightweight aluminum frame fixed wheel jogging stroller. If you are a serious runner and demand the stability of a fixed wheel jogger, the Zoom ATS is for you. All three alloy rims with 16" pneumatic tires quickly release, the rear wheels have a one step parking brake and the front wheel has a hand brake. Each rear wheel operates independently with a spring/air suspension for a very smooth ride? With no rear axle it allows for maximum stride length? The frame is made from 6061 aircraft aluminum and the aluminum footrest (not plastic) enhances frame strength. These are features usually found on strollers costing several hundred dollars more. Combine the higher handle and neoprene parent organizer and you get absolute comfort! Also, enjoy the giant storage basket with easy accessibility. Don't forget the rain/wind cover and safety leash that is included. Now you have all the reasons to go out there and get your workout in!

  • The Zoom ATS has a fixed front wheel. Quick fold design
  • Aluminum frame with shock absorbing suspension
  • Extra wide reclining seat. Oversized sun canopy
  • One-Step Link Parking Brake. Large Storage Basket
  • Includes Parent Organizer, Running Leash, Tire Pump and Rain Cover

Comments about Joovy Zoom ATS Jogging Stroller - Black:

I bought this stroller because i needed a stroller that my 50 lb 3 year old in. He is very big for his age so he don't fit in most strollers and with his weight it hard to find a stroller for his weight that wasn't way to expensive. Most people are probly thinking why do I need my 3 yrs old in a stroller anyways. My son has autisum and tries to take off and will not hold my hand. So the stroller is the the best option for his safety. This stroller he loves and fits in great. I am still looking for a light weight stroller to take on busses since I don't drive in my price range and will fit his weight.

Comments about Joovy Zoom ATS Jogging Stroller - Black:

The first thing people need to understand about this stroller is that the front wheel is stationary. It does not swivel. This is actually a good thing when your running because a front wheel that turns would be swerving all over the place the entire time. So you actually have to lean the stroller back and lift up front end a little to make it turn. I just wanted that to be clear because I read some negative reviews on other sites, but it's not a negative things if you actually intend on running with the stroller. It does seem weird at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly. This will be my 3rd summer with the Joovy, and I love it. I put about 15 mi/week on it during the warm months so this thing has really been used. The frame is really thick/strong which knocks it out the the "lightest stroller in the world" contest, but it's perfect to run with. When I first got it I thought the shocks were going to be too hard, but they do what they're supposed to do. I run on some poorly paved roads and some dirt roads, and my daughter can sleep through the whole thing. She doesn't bounce at all. There is a ton of storage underneath and two cup holders plus a little zipper pocket near the handle. There are little pockets where the kid sits so they have a place to put their snacks and whatnot. Unfortunately when they're little it's not easy for them to put a drink in there (an actual cup holder would be great), but we manage just fine. The canopy is large and well made. The cool thing is that it has a little clear panel with a flap so you can peek down at the kid without stopping. It can be difficult to hear them talking when you have the canopy all the way down and you're running, but you could definitely hear crying. The only thing I can really complain about is that the handle height is not adjustable. I'm only 5'3", and the handle is a little high for me. After long runs, my triceps can get a little sore from leaning it back to turn or if there are a lot of hills. It's not horrible, but I wanted to include everything. The only other "problem" I've had is with the wheels/bearings. I've put a lot of miles on the stroller over rough ground so I have to expect that the bearings will wear-out at some point. The problem is that you can't just get new bearings. You have to buy a whole new set of wheels, and they're not cheap. When the start to go, there is a lot more resistance and it's harder to push. I've been squirting lithium grease in there and that helps, but they're getting a kind of wobbly now. When it's new, the stroller is super smooth and easy to push. If you push it and let go it will go for a while without you. That's nice when you're getting tired. Also, there is a hand-break for the downhills because the stroller could definitely get away from you pretty quickly. To sum it up, I LOVE this stroller. The "pros" easily out-weight the "cons", and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good stroller that they can really run with. And the fact that it's under $300 is a big bonus.
