I bought this unit at half price during one of their sales. For that price, it's a good buy. The entire item is made of plastic, so while you could buy a nicer generic tower storage somewhere else you won't get it for this price.

Assembly is pretty easy if you use the instructions. I highly recommend reading them because you can't take this thing apart without breaking it. It specifically says that if you wish to take this thing apart, you must do so only if you wish to discard the item. It's not big or heavy, so it's not much of a problem but just know that when it's assembled, it's a done deal. One thing I was worried about at first was that on the top back portion, the two plastic parts had a gap. At first I thought I had a defective unit but one side just didn't latch into place. I had to put the unit on its side and use my body weight to push the parts together. I was then able to hear the plastic click into place and then the gap was closed. I was afraid I might break it, but it was fine.

The top portion has a nice compartment for your wiimotes and nunchucks. If you always keep your detachable wiimotion plus on your wiimote, you'll fine that it does fit on the top of this unit, but it will be a bit snug.

This tower is generally a nifty little thing, holding the remotes, nunchuks, games, and guitars. It is extemely EL CHEAPO in quality. If someone knocks into it or is too rough, it will definitely snap somewhere. It was very easy to put up, and is pretty small -- which is good for me since I don't have much space. It's decent and does what it's supposed to do. Is it worth it? That's up to you... do you want your Wii organized?

We use this product every day. We do not have guitars but hung the steering wheels instead. It was super easy to put together (about 15 mins tops). I do wish there was more room for games but we just put the ones we don't play often behind the ones we play a lot. It definitely made everything look more organized.

I was looking for something compact, that looked good and was durable to boot. It has a sleek design and fits my system perfectly. If I had any qualms about it, it would be that the controller docks on top are not a charging station as well. But for the "Do It Yourselfers" out there, it is pretty easy to change it into one. I liked this product so much that I also bought the XBOX and PS3 towers to match.
