My son is a few months shy of six and this is perfect for him right now. A bit challenging, but not overly difficult. He loves all of the wheels and other vehicle parts. Perfect first "real" Lego set.

Original search began for larger logo pieces to go with logos he already had. However, not avialable so we purchased these. He enjoyed the front-end loader and carried it and the driver around,scooping,building, finding many various ways to use the pieces. He small fingers has some problem pulling pieces apart.
