we had a lot of trouble getting the move moving after giving the kids the move bundle for Christmas.
For some reason, we could not get the controller calibrated correctly, which led to much frustration for everyone. I was about to complain to Sony and magically the PS3 player updated itself with a system update. We tried to calibrate the controller again and were much more successful, which led us to purchase this second controller.
After waiting a month or so we found it online at toysrus. I think it can be found elsewhere for a better price, but we had a gift card that needed to be spent.
This second controller works fine although the kids have not been using the move as much as I had hoped with the investment made.
Do not buy the skin sold seperately, as it is easily damaged even with adult installation and is really unnecessary unless you have a player that sweats profusely.

shop for price on this component as the suggested retail includes a high margin of profitablilty for Sony. As they become more available I would think the prices would become more competitive.

I want to preface this review by stating that I have all three game systems. I like all of them. And play them all as well.
I'm also 42 years old, and not prone to system loyalties.

I have to say that the controller itself is very comfortable in the hand. Seems to be durable, and is steadier on screen than the Wii controller. It's also more accurate. It's also very light and easy to use for long stretches. I've had no issues using it that I can complain about.

So far I've used the Move with Time Crisis Razing Storm, Tumble, Mini Golf, Pool, and The Shoot. It works excellently with all of these games. I haven't had to recalibrate it once during gameplay. To get a real feel for the precision of the Move controller you'll want to try Tumble. The handling of the blocks in the game is amazingly precise.
The only game I've had any issues with would be Time Crisis. They have some sections controlled by the move button on the top of the controller. This will cause the user problems when using a pistol type attachment. The good news is the game controls very well with the Move alone.
At the moment, (Nov. 10 2010) there aren't a lot of games that the Move works with. But the one's I've played that do use it, all show that it works well.
Worth the $.

This little puppy is almost like being right in there doing the real thing! It's tracking is spot on, however there are a few glitches every now and then. I know that the future of this is going to be something special. As soon as developers get used to all the programing and unleash what this thing can really do it's going to blow people away! The most fun I had with this so far is the "sword & shield" in Sports Champions, can't wait to get the attachments :D
