The Dr. Brown's Training Cups feature a Sip Activated Valve that is only activated by baby's mouth when drinking. There is no mess when baby is not drinking from this spill proof cup. All parts in the Dr. Brown's Trainer Cup System are interchangeable. The unique soft spout helps babies transition from bottle to cup. Cups are BPA free and dishwasher safe (top rack only). Out of 5 different types of sippy cups this is the only one my daughter will use It wasn't until I found this that she transitioned solely to a sippy cup.

I have 4 different brand and styles of sippy cups for my 11 month old. This particular one has been her ONLY choice since 7 month old. She can drink perfectly out of it and it never ever leaks, NEVER! All my other brand and styles do leak even though they claim not to. I have used the Dr Brown bottles as well with also no complaints. This is a flawless sippy cup and great that you can monitor the amount being comsumed. One more thing to add is the durablility of this cup it has been thrown a "billion" times on our hardwood floor and on our cement patio and never developed a crack of any kind! I will be looking to see if they make a version of this cup for older children. If so I definately will purchase!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This cup makes no sense

This is the most bizarre design for a sippy cup that I have ever seen. The liquid exits the cup through a hole in the center of the lid, even though the drinking spout is at the edge. I don't understand how this would help transition from cup to bottle, or even be comfortable to drink from in any situation. Maybe I am missing something, but the only way that I could get liquid to flow was to turn the cup completely upside down. What kid wants to sit and drink like that?

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I love these sippy cups my daughter has 5 of them. They're easy to clean all the parts, and they don't leak. My daughter has been using these cups since she was 7 months old. She's now 18 months, and just started chewing on the spout. I just ordered the hard spout cups through [...], because babysrus doesnt have them. These cups also come in 9oz. The 6oz one is perfect size. I like that they come in nice colors that you can mix or match. My daughter is only breastfed. It took her about 3 days to figure out how to drink from it. Out of all the cups out there I recommend this cup for breastfed children.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
