This seat is AMAZING! I use it in both my TINY 4 door Mazda3 and my 2 door Chevy Monte Carlo, and it fits perfectly rear facing in both! It is the easiest carseat I have ever installed! It it safe, comfortable, and stylish! Well worth the money! I wouldn't trust another seat like i trust BRITAX

i use this product for my 2 year old girl. We had an envenflo convertible car seat before this but it was in a minor wreck so we replaced with this model. I was looking for a more compact seat that didn't sacrifice comfort or safety. I think britax goes above and beyond the safety requirements and the cover is very cushioned and soft.

Another thing I like about it is the velcro that helps keep the straps aside when loading your child.

My daughter was always sliding the chest buckle down while I was driving making her seat unsafe but this car seat has rubber slides that helps keep the buckle in the correct place so she doesn't do that anymore.

Overall I am very happy with this seat and it's ability to keep my child restrained and comfortable (even while she sleeps).

My husband and I absolutely LOVE this car seat! We used it for 4 months while our daughter was facing the rear, and now that she is 1 year old she is facing forward. While she was facing the rear, the car seat didn't have a good recline. We had to fold up a few towels to place underneath the base because she was leaning too much towards the back of the car. But now that she is facing forward, we have no problem at all with the recline positioning.

We used the car's seat-belt not the anchors while facing it to the rear. It moved slightly, but it still felt pretty sturdy. My husband and I feel much safer having her in the middle seat of the car, which is why we did not use the anchors while facing the rear. Now that she is facing forward, we use the seat-belt and the top anchor. The car seat does not move at all! It feels so much safer now that she can face forward in it.

The only con I have about this car seat is that it is a little bulky. I sat in the back with her during a long trip (while she was facing the rear), and I couldn't fit my arms comfortably by my side. I had to rest them across her legs, but that didn't bother me or her much at all.

Overall, I absolutely love this car seat. I didn't give it 5 stars because we haven't experienced it's full safety during a wreck, but I hope we never find that out. Definitely buy this car seat, I wouldn't waste your money on any other one.

Nice Pattern, comfortable, good padding, MADE IN THE USA! It was so nice to find a carseat made in America. I try to buy American whenever I can. I didn't realize it until I bought it and was happily surprised. It is well made, I am supporting our country, and I don't have to worry about any possible toxicity problems coming up in the future.

Vowed I would not spend this kind of money on this car seat years ago with my first three kids, but after a terrible car accident last year while pregnant with my third, my thoughts changed a bit. So, here I am with a limousine car seat. LOL. This care seat is great with the exception that it is a little challenging to install. I have an SUV and it fits fine, space wise but needs to be anchored in 3 places which can be challenging w/ 4 other ppl in the car. That is the ONLY complaint I have and it is not much of one!

I bought this for my daughter who just turned one and it's great! It gives her more room and is comfortable. The fabric is comfy too but I worry if she'll get to hot in the summer so I just crank the air on higher back there.

We were using the 2010 version of the Britax Marathon, which is now the "classic" and we fell in LOVE with Britax! So when the new "70" version came out, we had to have one! We use the other one in daddy's car still :)
Features i love: the seat rear faces to 40 lbs. which is a HUGE plus, since my daughter is 2.5 and still rear facing. At 32 lbs. i like knowing she still has a ways to go until she reaches the weights limit (if she doesn't outgrow by height first, of course). It also offers more leg room for rear facing! The harness is a lot easier to adjust then the "older" version. It's nice and smooth! I love the way the shell cradles her body, she looks so comfy. Her head never flops forward when she sleeps. The height of the car seat is high enough for her to see out the window. I love the HUGS chest guards, they give you the added benefit of keeping the straps nice and flat on the child's chest. The harness never tangles, huge plus...if you've had one that does twist, you'll know what i mean!! The no-thread harness adjuster is brilliant! I also love the little velcro on the sides of the seat, it helps the straps stay open when you put your child in the car. It also keeps the crotch buckles from falling down to the bottom of the seat, which would require you to dig for them (like i have with other brands!). It installs pretty upright, at least in my car. So if you're using it for a newborn, you'll most likely need a noodle. Acually, i purchased a noodle and use it just to give her a little extra leg room and so she's not so cramped. As long as it's within the degrees allowed by Britax, it's fine. I've bought (and returned) numerous other brands and once i found Britax i new i had a keeper. Not to mention i did extensive reseach!
Let's see...the only con i can think of is the lock offs are a pain in the butt! We don't have latch, so we have to use the vehicle seat belt. Luckily we can get a rock solid install without the lock-offs. It's a little heavy, but i honestly don't notice it, i'm used to the other Marathon, and honestly, i like knowing that it is well made and not some flimsy plastic. So i don't really consider that a con. Other than that, it's perfect, i recommend it! I also recommend rear facing beyond a year. Do some "youtube" searches for "extended rear facing" and watch the videos, that's what made me think twice about turning my daughter forward!

Our daughter was 7 months old when we bought this, but she's now 8 months. She seems much more comfortable in this convertible car seat than her infant car seat. She isn't as cramped, and seems relaxed while sitting in it. We haven't used it in the car yet, because we have to scoot our seats up so it will fit. We're considering installing it now though, because she looks so uncomfortable in her infant car seat. We'll have no problem with the space issue once she turns 1 and we can install it facing forward.[...]I just opened the box, and it was already assembled. I also love the print of it, and the fabric is so soft! Our daughter can't stop rubbing it while she's in it.
