We put this in the middle of our backseat, 2002 Pontiac Grand prix and fits with no problem. 2 adults can ride comfortably in the back as well (I've done it). Baby seems to like the seat and seems pretty comfortable. She whines less in this one for long rides (1 1/2 - 2 hours) in this seat vs. the one in Grandma's car - not Britax. I know there are less expensive car seats out there...but if we can spend hundreds on a TV why not spend money on a car seat to ensure baby's safety.

I loved this car seat and know that Britax has a good reputation. I also ordered this online so that I could get this specific fabric. When I received the car seat and went to install it, I noticed the fabric was already coming apart. It could have been just a defect with this one so I was able to exchange it for another car seat but not for the same fabric. I got the JetSet instead but overall this model of car seat my son loves.

We bought this seat for our daughter when we were ready to turn her around to forward facing. It's a great seat, but it is big! We feel like she is very safe and secure in this seat and it has lots of great features. One of the straps tends to flip and twist in the back behind the seat, which is tough to get to, so it has to be straightened when buckling her in, quite often, which can be a little annoying. But overall, it's a great safe and wonderful carseat! We have seen others and put friends and families kids in others in their cars.....and Britax is superior!!!!!

We love this carseat. Many people complain about how "bulky" or hard it is to install. But it is really quite simple, especially if you have the LATCH system. You literally just snap in the two latch locks & tighten it up! I took mine to the California Highway Patrol office and they showed me how to properly install it in my car. If you are having trouble with any carseat installation I would recommend having a certified person put it in and show you, because you once you see it done, it is so much easier! Many places have people certified to install carseats, check with local county services, the fire department or your highway patrol. GOOD LUCK! :)

After much research and asking friends for recommendations for a convertible car seat, I decided to purchase the Britax Marathon 70. Many friends raved about this car seat, so I thought it was the best choice. We ordered the seat online and both my husband and I were quite disappointed with the car seat. 1st, we thought that the directions were pretty confusing and not very straight-forward on how to install the seat. Once my husband figured out how to install the seat, he tried to install the seat. It was quite heavy and bulky and was very awkward to try to put it in the car. I realize that the convertible car seats are much bigger than the infant seats, but it was not an easy thing to do w/ this seat. Once installed, my husband did everything he could to tighten the seat and much as possible, but even after many attempts, the seat was very wobbly. The headrest/backrest portion of the seat moved back and forth as well as the seat base part. Overall, the seat was very loose and we could not figure out how to tighten it any more to be safe and secure for our child. [...] we ended up with the Graco Signature Series all in one care seat and we are very happy with the new seat.

This seat works great for our 6 month old. And, it fits nicely in my Infiniti G35 sedan. We have been using the seat for several weeks now and we love it - including baby, who was always fussy in the car prior to getting this new seat!

After reading all the positive reviews my husband and I bought this for our 6 month old, unfortunately it is way too bulky for my ML350 the passenger seat has to be adjusted all the way forward for this carseat to fit in the rear facing position plus our son really is uncomfortable and not too happy when we put him in the seat. Looks like we are going to have to find another car seat for him.

We recently purchased this as our almost 8 month old little guy is now 20+ lbs and is getting taller by the day...we just couldn't squeeze him into his infant carrier anymore! this seat seems very comfy, we call it his lazy boy : ) Love all of the safety features & how easily the straps & buckles adjust. It is very large, we have a jeep grand cherokee and it is even a bit of a monster in there but knowing our little one is safe makes up for any loss of space in the back seat!

Very nice car seat. We bought it for our 9 month old who was outgrowing her infant seat. It was easy to install and fits great inside our Ford Edge, rear facing. I would definitely recommend this seat.

When my daughter was 10 months old and 20 pounds, I began looking for a convertible carseat to replace her infant carrier. I bought the Britax Roundabout on sale. I have an older daughter who is now in a booster. With her I used only Evenflo carseats and had no complaints. But from the first day of receiving the Britax I was impressed. I love the fabric, it's size, the recline and the velco strap holders. The Roundabout was for my husband's smaller sedan. When I started looking for a larger carseat for my Yukon, I found this Marathon and had to have it. Again, I'm impressed that it's compact. I love the padding, the ease of use, the recline, the tummy pad, the side-impact protection, and the velcro. I plan to keep my daughter rear-facing until at least age two and both of these carseats will more than accomplish this goal. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
