We had a Britax Roundabout 50 and 55 and loved them. My husband recently hit a deer (thankfully with our son NOT in the car) and we had to replace the 50 that had been in his car at the time of the hit. We purchased this car seat and it is even BETTER than the 50 and 55! We absolutely love how comfy it is and how incredibly easy it is to adjust! We want to buy another to replace the 55 because you don't have to re-thread the belt when adjusting the height. They are worth every penny you spend on them! He even sits a little higher and can see out our van window better than before. It is heavy, but I don't make a habit of carrying the car seat around...it stays in my van. I can't say enough good things about the Marathon 70!!!!!!

We use this product in our Honda accord and fits well.
Our infant is about 10 months old and we were tired of using the infant car seat and wanted something we could get her in and out easier. I love the safety standards that Britax holds and feel good about putting our infant in this seat.

It was such a debate when we purchased this seat because of the price. I'm very pleased with the conveniences of the seat, they've nearly paid for the seat themselves! Lengthening & loosening straps with the push of a button is a God-send! My little man is still little & rear- facing, but it was obvious from day one (when he fell fast asleep within 5 minutes) that he was going to dig his new seat & he does! It IS heavy (it's made with steel!) but that'll only matter if you plan to move it often. There may be plenty of cheaper seats out there but we are pleased with our choice!!

This car seat is awesome! It can be used for a 5lb-40lbs rear facing, then I can use it for my child from 20-70lbs forward facing. This is one of the only brands that I researched that will hold a child up to 70lbs. With that being said, Britax has done crash tests using up to 70lbs of force. What I also found in my research, this company also does head on accidents going at faster speeds of impact then any other brands. I also learned that their safe cell tech. in the bottom of the base of this seat will actually compress when you get into an accident, bringing the childs center of gravity lower to the ground instead of throwing them forward or side to side. Another key feature that I love about their seats that really sold my husband and I, is the steel they use as opposed to plastic. When I went into a Babies R Us, the team member explained to me that when car seats sit in your car for years, they go through the seasons of hot and cold and it causes plastic to expand and contract with the heat and severe cold the our "mitten" state goes through. This can cause the plastic to shatter if you get into an accident. I love how the harness system has never tangled on my like my sister-in-law's Safety 1st seat does. I knew that I did my research and was confident in my choice. The woman at the store was very knowledgable on Britax car seat which ensured my husband and I that we where going to be buying the "Jaguar-of-car-seats!"

I chose this seat for the overwhelming safety reviews, and that it will fit in my 2003 Honda Accord (It actucally fits better than the infant car seat did (Graco 35). You can move the passenger seat back a little further). There was nothing to assemble, just had to fiddle with it and see how to adjust the straps and such. So far my girl likes it, so I am a happy mama! It also has a piece of fabric around the "crotch buckle" which keeps the buckle and straps from laying directly on her legs and leaving marks. The seat is well padded and looks very comfortable.

This car seat seems very sturdy and safe. My one year old seems comfortable while in this seat. My only complaint about this seat is that it is difficult to find the button to loosen the straps.

I simply do not like this seat. There are other seats out there that are just as safe but at a much lower price. Just because someone doesnt buy the most expensive seat doesnt mean they dont care about the safety of their child.

I bought the Britax car seat for my 6 month old. It was a little pricey, but well worth the money!! My little girl absolutely loves her new car seat! She looks like such a big girl sitting in her car seat!! She goes to sleep easily in it and it is very comfortable and roomy for her!!
