Great for outer edge of door

    These work really well on the outside edge of the door, not the inside door jam area. When I placed them in the door hing area it made the door swing rather fast when you try to shut it. My soon loves to slam doors and then open them. He can do this all day without getting hurt with these on the outer edge. They stay on and can be easily removed too.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    PUSHES DOOR OFF HINGE!!!! BUY FOAM ONES!

          This product does prevent the door from closing on fingers, but if the child pushes hard enough to try and get the door to close it rips the hinge out of the door. We got a brand new door and the top hinge is barely hanging on because my son tried to push the door closed with the pinch preventor on.... We had the foam ones but the dog got it and ripped it apart. I recommend the foam ones because they are big and fit around the outside of the door not on the hinge side. I just settled with this product because they were out of the foam ones. BAD IDEA!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to get our door fixed.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            Love this product, it actually does what it says. It protects fingers on both hinge and knob side of door. When not in use it hangs on doorknob.
