            Thick plexiglass plastic. Short and tall side fit multiple types of DVD players. Velcro to attach to player. Keeps DVD players and other tv parts from becoming buttons to play with. Love it

                Comments about Safety 1st DVD Player Shield:

                It took my son less than a day to figure out how to get this thing off of the DVD player and the one that we got for our cable box. The concept is a great one, but the velcro that secures it to the box is not durable enough to withstand a toddler. If this manufacturer can figure out a way to make it removable for adults but not for kids, then it would be worth the money. Until then, save your money and move your items to a higher shelf if possible.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                  My only mistake is in buying one. I have a 15 month old who loves any and all electronics. He loves hitting all the buttons on the VCR and DVD player. This fabulous shield prevents him from doing that. I am very satisfied with this.
