I Love This Machine! I got this when my daughter was 6 months old. She has two older brothers, 9 & 5, and trying to get her to sleep and stay asleep when they were home was impossible because of the noise. All I can say is that this machine saved naptime for her. It drowned out the noise enough for her to sleep and stay asleep. She is 16 months now and we are still using it at nap and bedtime, and she is a great sleeper! We stopped using the night light after a few months because it was too bright in the room for her, but love the feature for late night paci hunts! We occasionally switch up the sound choices for her, but mostly she is happy with all of them. Also, big feature is the ability to plug into my iphone. I haven't used this feature yet but anticipate doing so in the future, as she gets older. I researched these machines very well and for the price, the functionality and features can't be beat. Highly recommend to all parents, even those without a noisy house.

My 13month old starting having sleep problems around 8months. I always rocked him, but when he came able to walk and crawl he wanted nothing to do with me rocking him. My husband and I would sing with him to fall asleep but when my husband deployed it became worse because I didn't know his songs. (He normally lays him down) I had become to hate bedtimes as much as my son. I did some research and none of the sound machines on babyrus have good rating but my gut said to try the Graco brand. Let me say it was a LIFE SAVER! The first night I put him down with the machine his father was on duty and I knew it was going to be miserable, but instead he crawled into my arms asking for night night. The secret was I had turned to machine on while I changed him and let him play some before bed. He loves birdies so that with the summer thunder just did him in! Thank you Graco, and I will be recommending and gifting!

I would have 5 stared if you could just press which sound you wanted instead of having to scroll and a better variation in sound levels.

We needed to replace the fan in my son's room (it was dropping the temperature in his room by 5 degress). He's two so I was skeptical that he'd transition to a "new" sound. It worked like a charm! It was loud enough (we use the white noise option -- though I'd like the rain one myself!) and the size is perfect to take on the road! Never again will I have to explain to in-laws that I need a fan in the middle of winter! I HIGHLY recommend this sound machine!

We live on a fairly busy street and our 2 year old's room is at the front of the house. we used a fan for white noise, but it was beginning to make his room too cold. This machine is the answer to our problems.

After bringing baby home from the hospital, we both downloaded sound machine apps on our iPhones and took turns playing them when trying to get her to settle for naps but since they were on a timer, then only played for 'x' minutes and turned off. She would wake up from the slightest sounds (coughing, closing a door, flushing a toilet, thunder, etc) so we needed something to play continuously. This sound machine is perfect- it is currently on a tiny nightstand next to her bassinet in our master bedroom. Plenty loud enough for drown out the noises of the world. We prefer the nature sounds (womb, ocean and white noise) to the songs as it seems every baby toy plays the same 5 classical songs and we are sick of them! It has been on for 12+ hours every day for the last 2 months and is still going strong. We travel frequently and always take it with us so she has the sounds of home.

We love this machine and so does our baby girl! I love that we are able to use the white noise to help her sleep deeper, the music for play time, and the nightlight for checking in on our little one without disturbing her! We travel a lot so the fact that it's lightweight and compact was a big selling point for us and it helps to have that "comfort item" from home to help our baby to adjust quickly to new surroundings.

I love this sound machine! I had the sleep sheep first but hated that it turned off after only 45 mins and it was also a little too quiet. This stays on all night and is perfect for when we have friends over or for every night/nap if your little one is a light sleeper. Also easy to travel with.

Easy to operate. I love all the nice nature sounds it features. It is also great to plug your mp3 player in it to make your own unique music for your baby!

The wiring on this thing seems faulty - it was shaky from the start and now it rarely turns on. The lullabies were nice when it worked, but with only 3 or 4 songs, you quickly get sick of them when you're sitting awake at 3 a.m. listening to them on loop. Quality is not good and the product is not all that easy to use. Maybe it's just my frazzled new mom brain, but I constantly find myself mashing a variety of buttons to get it to elicit any noises.

My 6 month old daughter easily sleeps through the night and enjoys 2-hour naps with this sound machine. She started sleeping through the night at 8 weeks, but around four months, she started waking up throughout the night for no apparent reason. I researched sound machines, chose this one, and I'm so happy I did. She has slept through every night since, even in a hotel room! We play the music while she eats before bedtime, and we play either the white noise or womb sounds through the night. This is a MUST HAVE for any new parent! Wish we had had it sooner!
