This is SUCH a great toy! This toy provides oral, tactile, visual, and auditory cause and effect/stimulation, fine motor skills development, and the potential for psychosocial skills enhancement (interacting with a toy with a face). Unlike a lot of other small musical/sound/light-up toys, this one has batteries that can be replaced (I so value a toy that is not wasteful!). It is a simple design, but well made, durable and easy to clean/disinfect with a wipie. I spent quite a bit of time researching different toys to give as a thank you gift to my pediatrics clinical fieldwork site and found this to be the best bang for your buck! When I found out they were being discontinued, I made sure to get three (two to give away to my mentors and one to keep for my own future pediatrics occupational therapy practice!). WE NEED MORE TOYS LIKE THIS!! PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE -THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH WELL-CONCEIVED & AFFORDABLE TOYS LIKE THIS OUT THERE!

My daughter loves the lights and sounds, but it is difficult for her (5 mos old) to hold and operate. The tiger part is fairly heavy and so it is awkward to hold it by the handle (tail) which activates the noise. I wish it had a handle at the top so I could more easily dangle it in front of her to make it easier to use. In the end there are better designed toys out there that offer the same type of entertainment.

This is the greatest little toy!!! Soooo worth it, my DD who is 2.5 months loves it. She is obsessed with flashing lights, that's the best part but also it makes 4 sounds, and two are child sounds (a giggle and a 'yippeee') which she clearly prefers over the other two sounds.

This a wonderful product, the only challenge is that it literally lasts 1 second and it's a kind of complicated mechanism (even my mother couldn't figure it out at first). You have to push the ring back to make the sound (not pull like most toys), then pull it forward again and push it back again in order to make another sound, so it will be a long time before she can figure out how to do that herself. It would be wonderful it was easier to activate AND if it had a more continuous feature because my girl loves it so much!!
Bottom line I still think this is great (as we speak she's staring at it, hoping it will "go" again), but it could be even better!

Love this toy so much! Funny sounds and bright lights make my boy smile and laugh everytime. I wish they made more just like this!
