What looks like a really great helicopter broke within 5 minutes of operation. The propeller on top is really flimsy and so I assumed that we could order another of these parts through the manufacturer website, but the manufacturer no longer exists... We tried to superglue (twice) the part and had no success. My son was so disappointed.

Cost over $10 a minute to fly before it hit the ground and the rotor blade shaft broke. Needless to say it flew for approx 4 minutes. Do NOT buy this product!!!

Purchased as a gift for my 6 1/2 year old son. It was fun, but unfortunately, part of the tail that hangs done broke late on day 1. Not quite as durable as I read on here. Trying to fashion up another piece of tin or aluminum to replace. I would still recommend, but with the caveat of learn to fly it outside, away from obstacles. Once you are comfortable, then bring it indoors.

Product was durable. Charger failed within the first few days. Would charge 30 minutes then it would only fly for 3 minutes. Not worth the money for only a few minutes of play time. Plus the charger ran off 6 AA batteries. If you don't have rechargable batteries then you will need a good stock of AA batteries. Its also a challege to fly it. For older children to adults. my husband flew it more than my children.

Bought for my retired husband loves being out-
side most of the year---fishing, boating, gardening, and hunting.
Knowing that he hates being confined to in the
house when the weather is bad, I thought he would
like to 'play' inside when he was not able to be
OUT.
I was a bit surprised at h.ow happy he was with the
helicopter. He has improved his piloting skills
and uses it nearly every day

Got this for my son who is 5. It is a little hard for him to control but he is quickly getting the hang of it. We have all had fun with this! It does take some practice runs but we have enjoyed that too! The wings do chip easier than we thought but you can call manufacturer for addt'l ones. This item is true to description in that it can take harder hits than other brands, which is what I had been trying to find. It does have a short battery life, but don't they all?!

This helicopter was a Christmas gift for my son. The recommendation is ages 14+, but I think a 7 year-old like my son can do just fine. This is a very precise helicopter and using small corrections it can do whatever you want. It is easiest to practice keeping it at eye level. Once that is mastered it's up to you to see what you can do.It is durable, but not indestructible. The helicopter took quite a few crashes that would have doomed a helicopter back in my day. I crashed it one too many times and now it won't elevate. It's best to consider the first helicopter as a trainer. The second helicopter will last a lot longer.USB charging is a great feature and the plug illuminates when the helicopter is fully charged. Flying time decreases a few seconds with each charge. It starts with a good 15 minutes out the box. After moderate use the helicopter has strong lift for five minutes and you're lucky to get 10 total minutes of flight. We discovered that we can get additional flying time by giving it a slight toss. This also helps to improve flying skills because it becomes more of a glider than a flyer and you have to choose a path that leads to level flight. These gyro helicopters are sold under many different names. Look at the controller and the helicopter in each photo and you'll see they all come from the same two factories. Search Gyro Helicopter on [@] and you can find helicopters (and replacement parts) at really good prices. Happy flying!

Durrible! My dad is 60 and absolutely loves it! Started playing with it right away and crashed a few times learning, but it didn't break! Awesome toy for older kids and adults! Awesome! Get the protection plan. The company who runs it sends u a gift card to buy a new one.

I bought this for my nine year old nephew for Christmas. He had so much fun with it! Didn't take him long to handle the control correctly. Had a few flops but held up great! The older guys loved it too, so I ordered two more! They will be a great surprise!
