My daughter got this as a Christmas present. Although she is younger and it doesn't really bother her, the CD player does not work. It starts playing the first minute of a song and then stops. I have bought new CD's to play in it and none of them work after the first minute. My daughter just likes to hear herself sing and plays with the mics but she can't listen to any music on it. Very Disappointed:-(

I gave this to my baby cousin for Christmas and she loved it! We put the batteries in and had everyone get a turn on the secondary microphone with her to sing along. She was a bit shy at first but she definitely became quite comfortable when her older brothers started singing! Definitely a great gift to give.

Works OK. Cords for the microphone aren't very long. My daughter can't dance around while she sings. Also, even if she just sits on her bed and sings the CD skips with any slight movement. Glad I saved the box, I'm going to return it tomorrow.

We bought this for our five year old last christmas. She loved it for about two weeks,due to the fact that the CD player broke. When it arrived in the mail I was suprised at how thin the plastic was. The microphones work great but the CD player is super sensitive. I eventually purchased another boombox from best buy to replace this one. Not pink but at least a year later it is still working. In the market now for my other daughter and noticed this one was still being sold. Do yourself a favor keep looking!

I bought this for my granddaughter's 5th birthday. She absolutely loves it!
The microphones allow her to sing along with her favorite CDs and a friend can
sing along, too. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this one. Most said that the CDs skipped and the units broke very quickly. So far, so good on this one.

Just stopped working within 6 months! Power (button) will not come on. My 5 year old daughter used it a few times with her cousins (she's an only child) and it just stopped working. She put it away neatly every time. Very disappointed and could not get a replacement one or exchange because of 90-day policy. Will not purchase electronics from Toys-R-Us anymore. They do not stand behind the products they sell.

My daughter got this cd player for christmas in 2010. It lasted about a year until a few months ago when the black piece that holds the cds in broke off. I saw another commenter that mentioned this happening. My daughter had fun with it but I wish it had lasted more than 1 year.

I also called the manufacturer to see if a replacement piece could be purchased instead of having to buy a new cd player and that was not an option.

We got this product by mistake after returning a similar faulty product & ordering it online at the store. They shipped us the wrong product but my daughter really liked it. She had it for about a week when one of the microphones stopped working. Took it back & thought we'd give it one more try. The new one is working well.
