My daughter opened this item for Christmas and used it for about 4 cycles. The tub quit spinning after maybe 10 minutes of use. The lights and everything still light up but the tub will not spin. Seems like a manufacturer problem that many have had. I would not recommend to anyone.

I bought this for my 4 year old son who loves our washer & dryer. He loved this toy....for the entire day that it worked. After one day, the tub stopped spinning, although it still made noise. [...]The new washer arrived quickly & my son was so excited. However, the new washer didn't work at all. I installed new batteries & a couple of lights came on, but that was all. No sounds, no spinning tub. Very disappointed! I'm sending them both back & have decided to try our luck with the Educational Insights washer.
