Product Description

Strolling around with two children has never been easier. The versatile Caboose Stand-On Tandem allows an older child to stand on its rear platform while a younger child rides comfortably in front. If the standing child tires, they can turn around and rest on the padded rear seat. Parents will also appreciate the rear platform. No more lifting a heavier older child in and out of the stroller when they want to sit or get tired. The rear stand-on platform and the rear bench seat are designed for a child that is at least 2 1/2 years old but less than 40 inches tall. The Caboose comes fully-equipped with a universal car seat attachment system that accommodates an infant car seat in front, so it can be used with a brand new arrival. The front seat has two positions. The fully upright position should only be used for a child that is at least six months old. This stroller is lightweight and folds up compactly. It also has a large basket and storage pockets to carry all the essentials.

The Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller - Appletree features:

  • The Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem has a platform in rear for a toddler to stand and padded bench for sitting
  • Comfortable two-position front seat
  • Removable child tray and universal car seat adapter included
  • Lightweight and folds up compactly
  • Storage basket under seat with elastic sides for easy access

Love the color! I use this stroller many times a week. My 2 1/2 yr old loves that he can hop on and off as he pleases. I love that I can still buckle him in on the rear seat just in case. My 1 1/2 yr old son fits perfectly in the front and loves having a tray. I also like that it isn't as long as the sit n stand. I've heard some people worry that their kids won't have enough space. . . It's just fine.
2 things I don't like but deal with. I had to buy the parent organizer separately. (I wish it came with it for the same price) The other thing is that if the front seat is reclined, my older one can't sit comfortably in the back. So he either stands or I don't recline it. It's not as heavy as our last double stroller. (4'11" and I can lug it around no problem)
Overall I LOVE IT and receive compliments every time I take it out. Good buy!

I had to purchase this stroller as it is the only one compatible with my Chicco car seat. Overall I like it and feel it serves its purpose well as a sit and stand stroller.
Things I like:
- It is narrow and fits easily around store displays, racks, etc.
- How easy it is for my daughter to get on and off, she really enjoys riding standing and being able to hop on and off at will.
- It rolls well, smooth ride.
- Easy to assemble; I did it in less than half an hour.
- Fits in my trunk!
Things I don't like:
- The many steps it requires to collapse: you have to lock both front wheels, lock both rear wheels, push sunshade all the way forward, unlock the side latch and pull up on both levers on the handle bar in order to fold up the stroller. I am used to a pretty much one handed collapse on my current stroller.
- The stroller doesn't stand up when collapsed; you have to lie it down. This is a bummer when you are folding it up in the snow or a slushy parking lot.
- I have to remove the car seat adapter every time I put the stroller in my trunk as it makes the stroller very long.
- Very little storage space and no cup holders. I considered purchasing the parent organizer but I can already see it will be in my daughter's way when she is getting in/out of the back so I won't be purchasing it after all.
- The sunshade really doesn't do any good for the child in the back unless he or she is seated.

I read a ton of reviews before purchasing this stroller so I was prepared for most of the drawbacks. Overall I would recommend it if you have a Chicco car seat and are looking for a sit and stand. It's no heavier than my current stroller, and I wasn't willing to shell out the cash for the Ultralight.

Comments about Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller - Appletree:

i use the product in my daycare everyday.. I like that I can push three kids and they are very comfortable in it, great construction and sturdy. I dont like that the FOAM on the handle came with crack in it and when I called the company the only option was to return the entire stroller and get another whole stroller. What a waste of resources, time, materials, etc.!!!!!! Seriously this company needs to reevaluate the construction of their foam handle.THe fact that you cannot just replace the foam on the handle blows bigtime. I see no reasont to bother with returning it as this type of foam will probably crack again. I will just pad it myself with something else

WHo wants to pack up this HUGE stroller and exchange it??? not me..

Comments about Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller - Appletree:

Thisis by far the best sit and stand stroller option. I love how it comes with the universal carseat adapter. It even fit my new graco click connect car seat which doesnt even have a stroller for it yet! It is easy to fold and folds very compact. Wy way smaller then the baby trend. I love how i can strap my two year old into the stand part of the stroller for the times when i dont want her getting out or running off. I find that even with the carseat in front she has plenty of room to sit the platform seat can adjust to be further away from the forward seat. I also like how now you can purchase a second seat for it making it a double stroller! I have it for long trips out for when my two year old may want to sleep its awesome! I can not recommend this stroller enough!
I have tried many many different sit to stands and all have disappointed me until this one. This one is the easiest i have tried to steer, folds the smallest, and has the most options for car seat compatibility.

Comments about Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller - Appletree:

My stroller was delivered without the instructions or the parts to attach the rear wheels. However, it was so easy to put together I figured it out without the instructions and it didn't take more than twenty minutes. Also, I called Joovy directly and they sent me the missing instructions and parts by the end of the week.

My 17-month-old and 3.5 year old both LOVE the stroller. It's heavy to push up big hills, but it burns more calories, right? My only dislikes so far are:

        1. when my older one is sitting on the back "bench" seat her head is very close to her sister's head in the front seat. Sometimes they bump heads and sometimes little sister pulls big sister's hair. Oh well! :)
        2. The stroller doesn't go up on curbs very easily. Most times I have to lift the front of the stroller to get it up over the curb.

The stroller is great. Very easy to push with my 11 month old and my almost 4 year old. Folds up easily. I am very happy I went with this stoller instead of the Baby Trend. Highly recommended!

Comments about Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller - Appletree:

I bought this item from a resale shop for an upcoming trip to Disney World insead of bringing two umbrella strollers. At first, we considered the Baby Trend version, but the Joovy has a much larger sunshade which covers both children (3 and 5) Plus, I got it for the same price as the basic model Baby Trend ($80), so I really can't complain to much.

The only thing I see as getting to be annoying is that the tray ust be removed to allow for my youngest to get in and out. I'm sure, though, that over time I'll get use to it.

Both myself (5'5") and my husband (5'11") can push it comfortably without kicking the wheels or bending down. I folds about the same size as our light weight, single seat stroller.

Folding is a bit of a pain, but I have had worse and this too is something that I'll get use to and it won't be an issue.

I like that is is narrow and compact in length.

It was great for going around Disneyland, but it's very hard to steer. If you're just going straight or slight turns, it's great. But not great for getting around corners or having to turn a lot. Good storage.
