This toy is WAY too loud. There is no volume adjustment and the inside is all sealed up so there is no way to lower the volume with the usual "tricks". It is so loud that I seriously worry about my daughter having it so close to her head while it is playing! You could clearly hear this guy from many rooms away! He was a gift and will definitely be put away with the Christmas decorations because I think the excessive volume has to be bad for my toddler's little ears!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
