at first i tought this is cool i can call my kids from my room to theres so i dont have to yell but no did not work did not returened it i was so mad i just trew it away donot waist money on this all it makes is noise....

I bought this so that I could allow my toddler child to communicate with me when she is in her room. One of the units didn't work at all. The other just put out loud static constantly. But fortunately it has a warranty - which turns out would cost me as much in shipping as I spent for the system itself! Can't return it - bought it from a ToysRUs location that is closing and everything is marked "Final Sale." So I guess I am just out my money. I strongly suggest spending a little more for a higher quality intercom system.

Loud static-y noise constantly! I realized within 10 seconds that we would not be able to use it, which was just as well because both pieces stopped working within 10 minutes. Making and selling such garbage should be illegal!

I was hoping to put one in my daughter's room and one in my room. It didn't work, so we tried to put one in the room right next door. They still didn't work. We could only hear out of the monitors when they were about 5 feet apart. Forget talking through walls.

This item is terrible. Squelch stays open and makes loud noises when not in use. Both items must be turned on and cause this loud squelch, even when far apart. Could not use in event when child wants to ask a question or has a bad dream. the constant noise will make you wanna turn it off. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER BUYING THIS ITEM! TRUST ME
