      We bought this dresser a few months ago and were initially very happy with the appearance. It's been sitting unused awaiting our baby's arrival. This week, I was loading a drawer with a fluffy blanket & pressed down gently to close the drawer. Surprisingly, I heard a crack! The right side wooden drawer support block completely broke away from the inside of the dresser. I really didn't press that hard on the drawer, so I'm pretty disappointed. We called our local store and are awaiting a call back. As I said, at first we were really happy with the dresser & received many compliments on its appearance. If you purchase it, just be really careful how you handle the drawers.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            I also reviewed the Combo Unit in this line of furniture - fyi. We haven't used the furniture yet, since I'm still 5 months pregnant. Based on how it looks in the room and the overall functionality, I give this dresser 4 stars. It's got a great finish with no imperfections. The color matches perfectly with our Suite Bebe Dakota Crib (from Burlington Coat Factory) - they are made by the same parent company. The dresser is a nice height, very sturdy, and has a high-end look. The drawer bottoms are a little "flimsy" - not dovetailed or self-closing as far as I can tell. I put clear contact paper in the bottom of all the drawers just as an extra measure of protection. We hope this furniture lasts until our little one goes off to college (if we don't take it to use in our bedroom before then)!

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
