I was told before I purchased this crib that the conversion kit was available. I purchase the crib and then called to order the conversion kit - 10 phone calls later and calling all stores within the tri-state area plus the West Coast - NO CONVERSION KITS AVAILABLE for the Essentials style crib.
Had to cancel my crib order - there is no point having a "convertible crib" if you can't actually convert it. Of course, they can't cancel the order because the order is already being processed, I have to wait for the crib to arrive and then set up a return pickup.
Completely irritated and frustrated. Worst experience ever.
DON'T BUY THIS CRIB!

This was super easy to set up and it sturdy as ever. I will have no problem with my toddler being near this when we bring our little girl home. I love the style, color and overall setup. There is not one thing I can complain about with this crib! So happy to have it and will use it for years to come.

I got this crib in 2 weeks before i had a my daughter. I had to return it once because it came in damaged but I received it again a week later It was damaged again but it was a very little chip it is not that noticeable so I just left it like that instead of returning it again. I love the crib it matched with my bedroom set. My daughters theme is hot pink with zebra. The espresso color looks great with the zebra. I love this crib I will definitely be buying the other parts as my daughter grows her bed will grow as well. I totally recommend it. :)

We opened the crib only to find the mattress support was wooden slats on particle board....not what we wanted! Honestly, I never checked this out as we have a Baby Cache Heritage Crib we love for my daughter so we assumed all the supports were metal. We purchased the matching dresser and chest of drawers we are keeping but getting the Montana Curved convertible crib.

We bought this crib for our first child. We have never put a crib together but after reading several reviews of other cribs understand they can be difficult. This one took my husband 30 minutes tops. He even said while putting it together "this is probably the most important piece of furniture I will ever put together" and took extra care with everything. I will warn you the converter kit to the full size bed was discontinued when I went to order it but was able to find it in a store in another state. They mailed it straight to my house which was nice!! Glad I went ahead an ordered it. I can only imagine how hard it would be to find in a couple years when we actually convert it to a fullsize bed. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. We looked at many sets of furniture and settled on this one due to style, price, and quality.

This crib is beautiful. My son is two now and has been sleeping in it since he was 2 weeks old. The construction is sturdy, it's easy to adjust, it's easy to assemble, easy to clean. I would give it 5 stars, however, it is soft wood. If your child chews at all it will show. My son went through a "beaver" stage and all the rails have been damaged. I strongly encourage you to buy rail protectors.

I have had this crib for over a year now, and it has done well for my son. The wood is soft like some people have said, as my cats have scratched it jumping into the crib. I also purchased the conversion kit and toddler rail at the same time so I had them on hand. And from what I have been reading that was a good thing as well, since people are having a hard time getting them.

I am getting this crib for our daughter. She is in Wa. State and we are here in the Soutb. I didnt want to go online and order a crib without seeing it first, so I went to BRU. Found a crib she liked and bought it. I was told in the store to order the conversion kit within 6 months as the crib will be"obsolete " after that and may not be able to get it. So I came home only to find YOU CANT GET A CONVERSION KIT! All the reviews I ve read...had the same issue. So, I called the store back..spoke to my sales gal, and she then said," well its a new bed, the conversion kit wont be out for awhile". She is saying the same thing all the other customers reported their sales clerks told them. So I reminded her that she told me I had to get them within 6 months and others have been waiting over 8 months now. She said she was going to look into it for me and let me know Monday. I think I am just going to cancel the order, before they tell me its to late, and order one that I kno!w I can get the conversions for. Sigh...

We ordered this crib in store and it is absolutly perfect! Can't wait for my little guy to get here. I am very happy with the product. Took my husband about an hour to put it together and he is not generally a "handy man"

Toddler Rail - I was afraid we would not be able to get it with so many commenting they were having trouble with that. We had the store employee order it, it came in within 3 weeks. So I encourage you to go in store to do this.
