The crib looks very nice. We were searching for a very long time and reading many reviews before getting this crib. We had even purchased a different crib and returned it because it was on the Proposition 65 law of California (I suggest EVERYONE look that up before you make a decision).

The crib was well packaged, everything was intact. It was pretty easy to assemble (you will need two people).

All in all, we like and bought the matching dresser which comes assembled and very well packed as well.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Crib arrived cracked and we had to return it. (Return shipping was covered, but only from a carrier service center. We had to pay $8 extra for home pickup.)

Assembly took a bit of work: the pictures did not match, and the steps were out of order (telling you to install one piece, which then blocked the "next" piece from going in). Luckily there aren't too many pieces, so you can figure it out. Adjusting the mattress level will NOT be easy though.

The finish scratches easily. We'll probably need to get teething guards.

Overall, it's acceptable and looks nice once assembled, but is by no means userfriendly.
