We've owned and have been using this crib for almost 2 years. We had it delivered to the store, and picked it up. Even after checking the color tag on the box, it was the wrong color, which we found out when we got home and opened the box. After calling, we were able to go back the same day to get the chestnut colored crib we ACTUALLY ordered. Check the box contents at the store.

We also ordered the 6 drawer dresser/changer. Both products had no flaws, and 3 men were able to put the crib together in 30 minutes. The dresser came assembled. I find the wood and finish to be of high quality, especially for the price.

My daughter is 20 months, and we only have it lowered to the second level (it has 3) with no problems. We are looking to purchase the toddler rail. We haven't had any quality or performance issues, in fact, the top of the dresser has held up to a bit of abuse by my little one banging on it with various things. Also, the look holds up to the more expensive cribs, but without the price tag.

We originally bought this crib in Jan 2011 and thought it was well made and sturdy. We are expecting again and needed a 2nd crib so we decided to buy the same crib again to match with the other nursery furniture we had. We were disappointed to find the sturdy mattress platform has been replaced with a cheap springboard and the cribskirt doesn't fit any more, due to the exposed hardware. The wood and finish seem cheaper and less durable than our original model. It doesn't feel as sturdy and high quality as our other crib. We are overall disappointed with the quality of the newer version.

The furniture is absolutely beautiful. The chesnut color is very attractive in our nursery. The furniture was packaged very well and had no damage whatsoever. My husband and I are both pleased with this purchase. We purchased the crib, dresser and tall dresser. All pieces were in great condition upon arrival.

I received this crib at my baby shower and it is exactly as I expected. The crib was easily put together by my husband with a little help from a friend in under 40 minutes. The wood is a lovely color that goes nicely with other furniture that I already had. There were no chips or damage to any of the pieces. Baby isn't here yet so the crib has yet to be used but I'm very happy with the quality so far.

We went into BRU expecting to just order the crib and instead were able to take it home the same day! My boyfriend and our dads put it together in about 30 minutes. They had all the pieces they needed. The wood looks great. No damage to the box or to the crib itself. The color is beautiful and goes great in the room. My little man isn't due to arrive until September but I am very happy with our choice so far and I'm hoping it will grow with him!

After much research, my husband and I decided on this crib. It rated well on Consumer Reports for safety compared to other cribs, and safety is paramount for us. The price was right, as well for the quality. The color is a warm, medium toned brown, and looks terrific in the nursery. These are good looking and sturdy enough to use as toddler beds and regular beds for the boys as they grow. My only hesitation about ordering this crib was that MANY previous reviews noted damaged and dinged cribs upon arrival. We took our chances, and with two cribs, there was just one tiny chip on one of the frames. The cribs were ordered and arrived within the given time frame. I think we allowed 10-12 weeks. NOTE: The crib packaging is large, so you will need a fullsized SUV or pick up truck to accommodate the box. You will not want it shipped directly to your home unless you plan to pay several hundred extra dollars for home delivery. My husband assembled both cribs with relative ease. Keep in mind that they need to be assembled in the nursery, as they will not fit through a doorway once assembled. :)

We purchased the crib, dresser, changing table combo, night stand and conversion kit In January. We liked the way the furniture looked and it seemed sturdy. We had read some reviews about damage but hoped it was the exception. We were very wrong!

The crib, dresser and changing table were ready within 2 weeks, but when we got it home out of the box, we had a broken drawer on the dresser and a huge wood chip in the main headboard of the crib. Babies R Us arranged for new furniture to be shipped.

The second shipment arrived with a discolored dresser and a large splinter in the head board of the crib. Babies R Us again helped us reorder.

The dresser worked out this the third time, but the crib came with an odd mismatch of wood on one of the pieces. It appears they like to jigsaw pieces of wood together instead of using correct sized pieces from the start. We have noticed this on many of the pieces. Usually it is not very noticeable, but the mismatch was so much, that we asked for just the piece to be replaced. Again Babies R Us helped us get in the new piece. This was now March.

The conversion kit and nightstand were on special order. They arrived around the end of February. The nightstand finish on the top front of the furniture looked worn down and faded. Again, Babies R Us helped us reorder.

We were able to pick up the last piece on March 18th. Thankfully we purchased the furniture way early and I wasn't due sooner.

My advice: The furniture is nice, but the quality control is horrible. It was a huge headache and very time consuming get all of the pieces. It seems some people did not have the problems we did, but I would NOT suggest purchasing this for peace of mind.

We bought this crib while Babies r Us was offering their swap an old item for a 25% off coupon. I really loved the crib and decided to place the order. I was told it could take up to two weeks. I came home and read up on the reviews and immediately began to get concerned about several reviewers saying their crib came damaged. I was really hoping I would luck out, however the main part of the crib had a huge chuck of the molding taken off. I'm really disappointed that this wasn't packaged better. If I spend that much money I expect the product to come in excellent condition.

Haven't used the crib yet, but it is set up and waiting for our little girl to get here. We set it up today, it went together easily in less than a half hour! (actually have it in espresso, not chestnut but I couldn't find the espresso crib online) Packaged very well! Appears to be a great quality product! Can't wait to start using it!
